what about BTC withdrawals from bitstamp, anyone?

Yesterday evening, small amount, took 4 hours to reach my wallet but it's there.

Apart from that, commission rate also suddenly back to 0.5% and 30 day USD volume = 0 for me.

And of course, SEPA transfer from last Wednesday still not in my account.

Overall, pretty epic. NOT!

I'm still not receiving withdrawals emails.

I get the feeling as if Bitstamp was robbed and they sneakishly shut down withdrawals.

They have "sneakishly" shut down deposits also.
The deposit bitcoin link is still server error. Since the Ripple deposit link generates addresses/QR codes, It isn't at my end.

All the more reason we need to keep pushing through to a fully decentralized exchange.

I think they are working on it:

Just logged straight in with 2FA.

No funds deposited from my transfer on 14 November.

Fee says 0.50%, should be 0.46% for me.

Do not understand why BitStamp cannot make an announcement on Twitter or this forum if there is a problem.

Better to reassure than let people make assumptions.

I withdrew my btc yesterday no problem (once I was able to get to the withdrawal page without the site going down) and that was shortly after my earlier posts. Got the confirmation e-mail almost instantly and then the transaction was broadcast a few minutes later.

My experience with Bitstamp in the last couple of days:
  • site up and down but when up working regularly
  • when site up, withdrawal of bitcoin working
  • withdrawal of fiat NOT working due to missing confirmation mail. Apparently they are working on it
  • APIs up and down following the website
  • commission SHOWING as reset to 0.50% but correctly calculated when trading

It still doesn't look like anything major.

Your commission is not at 0.50%, it just shows that way in the account page but it is applied correctly to trades.

I normally don't use bitstamp, but I send a SEPA there last Monday. Let's see how long does it take to get into there ...

Edit: My SEPA was funded as I was writing this post. Now I already bought the BTC Smiley
