Link: User Merit Network.
This is now a subset of Link:  Merit Dashboard

Edit 29/11/2019:.
This is the last update: This product will be discontinued on the 03/12/2019

Updated to reflect the most recent sMerit available data:

Total sMerit:  530.518
Total Txs:      268.122
From Users:    21.367
To Users:        31.736
minDate:        2018-01-24 22:12:21
maxDate:       2019-11-29 02:47:47

Edit 01/06/2018:

The tool has the full history of sMerit TXs available in the official Forum export file, so it goes over the current 120 day Forum limit when viewing our sMerit History. By filtering the Data Tab you can see the sMerit detail you've sent or received.

NEW:
1)   Changed the Data Tab to include all individual sMerit Transactions (every single one since the Merit System genesys), and not just an aggregate by userFrom userTo which is what I used up until now. This allows up to view the whole set of individual TXs for any given user (just filter by the desired ToUserName or FromUserName).

2)   The data record for each TX now includes more detail: Tx date, From data (userId , user name, rank and link to profile) To data (userId , user name, rank and link to profile), amount of sMerit in the Tx, link to the merited post.

3)   I’ve switched on the export feature, so you can now export all or a filtered set of data to csv (I reimported it into Excel and it looks fine, allowing for external excel work to be be formed). Use from the Menu -> File -> Download.

4)   A total Sent Tab has been added to aggregate the total sMerit sent to a given user/s.

5)   A total Received Tab has been added to aggregate the total sMerit received for a given user/s.

6)   A Summary Sent Tab has been added to summarize the total sent from a given to each user in his network.

7)   A Summary Received Tab has been added to summarize the total received by a given user from each user in his network.

Note: The filters have to be set on each individual Tab, since filters are not shared amongst Tabs.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is an interesting curiosity that I thought about doing, but couldn’t find a proper free and easy to use tool to do it with until now...
The idea is to get a general picture of our SMerit network in a graphical form, both as a sMerit sender and receiver. It won’t throw too many new insights, but I find it fun in a way.

You can play around with the data following this link (edit 08/06/2018 replaced link with new version):User Merit Network.

1. Examples:
The output is something like this:

a) My sMerit Network as a sMerit Sender:
Shows who I've sent sMerit to.

b) My sMerit Network as a sMerit Receiver:
Shows who I've received sMerit from.

c) Theymo's Network as a sMerit Sender:
Shows who Theymos has sent sMerit to.

d) Theymo's Network as a sMerit Receiver:
Shows who Theymos has received sMerit from. Not bad ... (not all names come out since image is cropped).

e) Example of joint network of two sMerit Senders:
Intersection between the two users of about a dozen merited users.

f) Example of joint network of two sMerit Receivers:
Both users have received sMerit in common from multiple users.

g) My sMerit sent to Ranks / received from Ranks:
Shows which Ranks i send sMerit to and vicecersa.

2. How to use it:
The product is fine for multiple porposes, but is a bit chunky to use. It also lacks some featured I’d like to see included such as placing the sMerit number on the relationship lines, and for the product to share my filters on multiple tabs, amongst other features.

The Google product shows now 9 Tabs:

Data:
This Tab now has all the sMerit Tx (derived from the latest sMerit.txt). It can be filtered at will to see someone's full set of TXs.

Total Sent, Total Received:
Aggregates Sent and Received by user. Filter the name.

Summary Sent, Summary Received:
Aggregates Sent and Received by a user to other users. Filter the name.

Merit Awarded to:
This tells us who the sMerit is awarded to, but we need to filter the Sender. To do this:
-   Click the Filter dropdown box
-   Select FromUserName value (a filter should be now visible on the left side of the screen)
-    On the filter you can now type your user name (i.e. ddmrddmr) and press Find
-   Filter should be applied and the image limited to the selected Sender, viewing al Receivers in his sMerit network.
-   You can adjust the image size and move it around.
-   There’s an irritating thing (that seems to be a bug) that often happens: Not all nodes (Receivers) are shown by default, so you need to increase the nodes in the box above the image (I normally just retype the upper limit of nodes shown by the node box).
-   If you want to filter by another user, it's best to delete the filter (using the cross) and restart again (otherwise it adds both users to the query).

Merit Awarded By:
This tells us who the sMerit is awarded by, but we need to filter the Receiver. To do this:
-   Exactly the same as above, but filter by ToUserName.

Merit Awarded To Ranks:
This tells us which Ranks our sMerit is awarded to, but we need to filter the Sender. To do this:
-   Exactly the same as above, but filter by FromUserName.

Merit Awarded By Ranks:
This tells us which Ranks award us with sMerit but we need to filter the Receiver. To do this:
-   Exactly the same as above, but filter by ToUserName.

You can also see the exact data where the chart derives from by clicking on the three dots above the image and draging it down.

It takes a little bit of getting used to it, but in a few minutes you can chart your sMerit networks as well as see the complete TXs for your selection.

Thanks for creating this. It's interesting for me. It looks as if I have sent merit to a lot more members than have sent it to me. Those who have sent me merit seem to have sent it for a number of posts. That looks as if it is the correct mix if I am trying to support the merit system and the forum.

People do anything for a few merits lol
His post is really interesting and he must have spent hours working on it. Would he do something like that without the merit system?

I am impressed with all the time I have spent on this forum, reading and trying to write good content to get enough merits to rank up and join campaigns. Then I saw I didn't care that much about those campaigns and became addicted to this merit system lol

Actually, this is overwork in a sense, since I need to scrape bits and pieces of free time in order to do it. Basically, I skim it off family time and sleep. Shouldn’t make a habit though I suppose. I’m already getting complaints …

Thanks for creating this. It's interesting for me.
<…>
And there I was beginning to think I was on Jet Cash’s ignore list… The tool is useful as you say for getting a good overall picture, which is not easy to visually derive from viewing our profile merit history in it's flat line format.

<…>
Are all the users included? How do you manage to do that!!!!???
Yes, all user profiles that are involved in at least 1 sMerit Tx are included (TXs up to last Friday morning). Around 99% user names are included (the other 1% is marked assigned to a “null” name).
I wanted to do this for myself on excel, just based on my own profile. Then I wondered how to get it onto the google platform for everyone to share. I managed to find something those covers the basics, but that I think is not being evolved by google.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have it as an accessible widget from our personal profile ? Just an idea ..

People do anything for a few merits lol
His post is really interesting and he must have spent hours working on it. Would he do something like that without the merit system?
<…>

Without the merit system I certainly would not invest so much time on posting anything fancy, nor stats…. I'd probably be more in the bitcoin technical area (the non-technical bitcoin section is just too full of spam to read in an enjoyable manner) and posting small contributions all in all.
In this case, Merit system is a driver for “quality posts sir”… I’m not even into social networks, so this is kind of experimental all in all. Anyway, imagination has it’s limits and I haven’t got anything backlogged (well I do, but it’s a tough one …)

Fun tool.  I guess you could say I've given out a few sMerits.

Doesn't matter. This is the exact type of content we've been missing over the years. Hopefully, this won't stop at the merit system. We've been waiting for someone to do something similar to visualizing the trust system.  It's one thing getting the data, but presenting it in a clean fashion is normally where these types of things fall short. This one hasn't.

Edit 26/04/2018:

Just thought I'd add the Rank Tabs (Merit Awarded To Ranks and Merit Awarded From Ranks). Rank Tabs summarize what Ranks we award sMerit to and receive it from.

Since Table structure has changed, It looks like I need to use a different shared doc to reflect the changes. This is therefore the new link:

https://www.google.com/fusiontables/DataSource?docid=1z-BVVW-Md9qyPkdY0VwU0ni1_0abpjWTq1sDQymq

P.D. Added arrows to to help understand the relation direction.

I've update this info to the original Post and changed the link there.

Yes, it will be awesome, and, also, it seems like a smart tool for have a panorama of merit abusers.
The problem would be the download of the widget, and it what it can be based... if  it is going to be a google tool, maybe some users will prefer to avoid it.

Actually, the tool used (Google Fusion Tables) is quite old and is defined in their webpage as experimental. I believe that Google is not really working on and has abandoned it from evolving. Shame, because the concept is good, although I miss quite a few features on it (show of numbers on lines, drill-down, etc.).
The good thing is that it is free to use and works on an environment that requires no integration since many of us do use google suite products. That as you say may be a bad thing too altogether.

What it had allowed us though, and this is the positive side to it, is to get a quick proof of concept of the utility of such kind of widgets. Moreover, it enables us to get a more comprehensive vision of data, converting it into visual information that is otherwise difficult to get a good overall grasp on.

I don’t expect this specific tool to be really integrated into the Forum, but an alternative, more powerful tool that aligns seamlessly to Forum software (be it current software or new developments) would be nice, not to play around with, but for the functional benefit it could bring to sMerit comprehension at the very least.

I’ll stick to the tangible fun of it while we can …

Such a great tool for reviewing members sMerit and merit system. Very informative by looking only at the charts that conceptualize tha connection of certain accounts which you would try to investigate as a merit abusers.

Thank you OP. like always. you deserve more than 2 merits from me but I only had 2 for now. you are an asset to this community. I *promise to give you enough merits for a legendary rank for helping this small community.

*= if I keep meriting you for a year.
I'm a buyer of your products, will pay you with merits.

Now there’s a new use for sMerits – the purchase or usage of products and goods. It’s not Merit Trade you’re talking about in the sense we’re often using on the Forum, where Merit is the actual merchandise sold in the back alleys of Telegram and the deepweb like some prohibited substance. Instead, you elevate the concept of sMerit to a utility token within the Forum ecosystem.

I think I’m getting a bit carried away here  Wink ..

This is so cool. It is really neat to be able to see network interactions visually. I can't wait to track down some of my favorite users and see who they interact with. Of course as I type that, I worry that the merit system might cause some privacy concerns. Now I can track down whales and see everyone they interact with. Or just major influencers. On the other hand now it is easier to follow what the legendaries and heroes think is important information (including this thread of course!). Thank you for your hard work!
