Hi, dudes! I know there are some problems with data storage on the cloud but I had the idea that it's much safer than traditional storage methods.

Clearly not always the case.

The storage where your data is located may be subjected to a targeted cyberattack.you could be just a casual victim, especially if the hackers aimed at the entire service with the purpose of stealing or damaging the personal data of a particual user, whether it be an individual or a company.

And there's one more important moment in data storage - it's a human factor.

What do you mean?

Despite the abundance of cyberthreats, the so-called human factor remains the most dangerous element in the process of securing data. An attacker can be located within the data center, for example, as a system administrator.

Yeah, that's really sad.

The most sad is that some companies even hide the fact of data theft.

For example, UBER was subjected to a massive cyber attack, as a result, the data of 57 million drivers and customers had been stolen. But it covered the very fact of hacking and theft, and the payment to the perpetrators a ransom of $100 thousand dollars.

I'd hate to be in their shoes.

Still, I would like to avoid this.
