ZeroCarbon Project is hosting their second Zero Carbon Blockchain Sessions at their offices next week 12th December Wednesday evening at 6.30pm. Small group of mixed levels, technical and commercial. Informal and fun. Borrowing from Bokkys Sydney workshop format.

The last session was on token economics. They designed a token economy for a guests idea of ride to work scheme and deployed a basic token economy smart contract to support it.

Would be nice if the team could disclose any details on the participants and feedback they received (no need names but just a general description). I can't see too many ppl on the photo, so I can't realize how the local community was involved, sorry )) Looking forward for hearing more info regarding the future sessions.

Sure, thanks. Obviously lots of ppl, consumers and suppliers are interested in the project as far as renewable energies is one of the most perspective branches for all spheres. And I'm sure the discussion was a rather constructive, I'd suggest sharing the offers or ideas the team receives and maybe some specifics on the participants if this is supplier for example let it be some statistic figures he operates with. Just want to hear more from the team, it's interesting subject and excited project!

I don't know about the backing that ZCP has, but you need a huge lobby to make responsible people listen to you in this industry.

Indeed it does, but remember every little bit helps. If everyone voices their concerns, the message will be heard. Thomas recently at the Smart Energy conference in Sydney asking Malcolm Turnbull why Canberra consistently fails to take action against climate change.

That is well said and from that point of view you are absolutely right. If everyone thinks their voice has no meaning, people will fail to move something even at the collective level.

UN is a rather open to blockchain solution and has already involved a specific projects in the programs they hold. I'd like to see ZC among these projects. Wish you sucsess in reaching such reputable organizations as UN is.
