We had enough republicans with a variety of possible solutions to alleviating the consequences of looming climate change, and although no serious measures have been taken to fix or at least contain the situation, some senators were very vocal about leaving the earth. Which is very possible if u just follow Elon Musk's advice and drop a nuke on Mars poles, wait for another 10 years and desert the earth when Mars is ready to build settlements on. Nothing else will help mankind, period.

Have you seen the article here by chance, Musk allowing others to use their patents, this is a promising sign imo.

And if that doesnt work out, and we do need to evacuate earth, at least we can try to do some good and improve our ways in the mean time, i'm holding some optimism for the future either way.
