Myetherwallet Users Report Missing Funds.
On April 24, scores of Myetherwallet users began to report suspicious activity when trying to access the web-based ethereum interface. As the web’s most popular client-side ethereum wallet, MEW is widely used for sending money to crowdsales, buying Cryptokitties, and conducting many more day-to-day transactions that involve sending ether or ERC20 tokens. The platform does not hold user funds, but like all websites it is still at risk of being hacked by having its DNS servers taken over, exposing the data of anyone who interacts with the service. Shortly after rumors began to circulate, MEW issued a tweet to confirm their veracity:

This is not only happening with myetherwallet, I remember that some icos have even gotten this problem. Basically the hacker is redirecting the users to the fake site. Remember this is only giving an impact for those are using google DNS. I guess just try to change your  DNS and I have never used it and i'm still safe right now.

I believe that MEW is the most convenient to store. If you an experienced user and you know how to distinguish a phishing link from the present, then no danger threatens you.

I think there was some chrome extension that was used to access myetherwallet and this extension was hacked and funds were stolen, basically this happened due to security bug in that extension that resulted in the breach, i always emphasise on the care and vigilancy in the online and crypto world, we should use less and only trusted apps and extensions.

I think it’s not a problem
There has always been fud details about Myetherwallet
But I still use it

Stay safe method says, create a Myetherwallet account
Link it to ImToken
Control every information on ImToken

You have been warned in their site not to log in with your pass key, that is not the best option. Better still, you can still log in to your wallet on metamask or imtoken.
