Somewhat important, I've seen coins with huge communities fail so idk don't just trust big communities because they are mostly full of newbies.

The coin could be pretty large if there were a lot of people hating on it. So yes, it would do more than okay with an active community.

The real supportive community is an indicator of the credibilty of the project, but unfortunately it turned out to be fake telegram and twitter numbers created by bounty campaigns. To know the real community of a project, just check them after the ICO not before.

In any project, the team is the key to success. You should always pay attention to this and look at the previous experience, and the merits of all the participants who work in this project, this is an important point.

I think the community is extremely important for the success of a campaign. If a campaign can make their project with the help of a quality community, I believe that they can be very successfull in the future.

Community is the most important to check/rate a project. Without Community, who will support and promote project? Who want to buy/sell/hold project token in future? Who will review, post, share about project??? Who will use product after development to make profit?
Without community, project can't raise funds for development.
For example, Organicco is potential ICO, but they need to raise community too, you can join to check, there are more than 8000 members: https://t.me/organiccouk
Project launchs an airdrop to share the first tokens to supporters (10 ORC = 5 GBP per person): https://organicco.uk
And Full bounty program to make a wave in crypto world: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3777991.0

yeah sure it is true, when community backs a coin, it will create a great FOMO which will make the coin price to go higher, bitcoin price is high because it has a huge community supporting the coin and that's how it is for any other project, so i think project and team should always try to build a large community so that they will reach a much wider audience

Having a strong community is KEY. Unless there's a bit business or big private interests behind a coin, you need supporters investing and spreading the word about your project.

Community is very important in any case, so much information can be collected. Whether it's good or bad information. Promotions, pump or dump coins, suspended coins or other things. The community is also be able to give a lot of lessons in studying ico and in trading.

If the community behind a project is toxic or nonexistent, there will be no spread by word of mouth or social media.  Investors would be turned away because nobody is talking about the project, or they see nothing but immature rude comments associated to the project's name.  This negative first impression will be enough to have them put their money into something else.  It's a huge spiral downwards because as no money is in the project, low volume will make others think the project isn't worthwhile, which it probably isn't.

I agree with this article. and in my opinion, it is the existence of a community behind a project, then it will add to the media promotion of the project. a growing number of relationships that can be in the form of. so there will be more and more also get investors.

If you take a look at Logis coin, you may assume that all that is needed for a "successful" project is a decent trading bot to boost volume on your own coin to get investors to FOMO about your project.

I believe that a good community behind the cryptoproject is one of the most important conditions for its success. Because only a strong team can bring their project to a good level.

Hello all,

I came across this article that talks about the importance of a community backing a project, how important do you think it is? Do you think they can get by through large marketing budgets instead? and do you agree with the article?

https://medium.com/crowdholding-innovation-platform/why-do-you-need-to-build-a-loyal-community-for-crypto-projects-14b9207608c2

I think that the community is a hugely important part of cryptocurrency success. If you look at every single coin in the top 100 on CoinMarketCap you will see that each of them has developed a community that is highly supportive of the project. It is one of the things I look for when I am assessing new coins for investment. For an example of the kind of community that can take a coin from obscurity to success take a look at the one backing DarkPayCoin. https://discord.gg/XAPNYkZ

It is very much important. Because in the ico project, most case is that almost in the community are the investor to that project. And without the community, the popularity of the project or the coin is much less.

Community is a decisive factor in the success of the ICO project because it is the community that determines the value of the project they invest. Projects that have strong communities and growth will have great development because they are not affected too much by the market fluctuations.
