Hello everyone! Trying to do a little list of the bitcoin fork that between all are worth claiming. Hope you find this 3d useful.
I was having a look to this list of all Bitcoin forks .... man if they are a lot  


-- What do you really need to know? --
Well, first of all, many of them are pointless:D
Anyway, if at the moment of the fork (the relative block) you own the private key of an address containing BTC, you can use it to claim the new forked coins.
What you need to do:
- Verify you own the private key of the BTC address (wallet address, not an exchange!)
- (Wait for the fork) *(all mentioned forks below already happened)
- Move your BTC to a new address
- Import the private key (now BTC empty) on a wallet that support the new forked coin to claim it.


- CLAIM -
This detailed HostFat's guide on Bitcoin Cash claim can be used as main reference for all forks, mainly because the suggested method/wallet (Coinomi) as for today supports all the main fork i think are worth claiming

In fact, the only forks that today are worth it claiming are:

- BCH - Bitcoin Cash http://bitcoincash.org

Not supported on Coinomi; looking at wallets suggested on their site, the preferable seems to be Bitpie

Probably for most people this is a foregone selection, but still, everyone agrees these are the only btc fork worth spending some effort for claiming? Anybody claimed others?
Any particular experience to share? (mainly about BCD, found really few info on that)

Nice list and I think you got the most important ones out there, like you said you would in the thread title. I haven't claim all of them yet, and I'm not in a hurry to do so since I won't really lose them. I guess that the fork hype decreased a lot after bitcoin gold. Even bitcoin diamond wasn't that popular, and the majority of the forks probably resulted in useless coins (even if your plan is to just sell them).

I won't be selling them though, because after this last correction they really became cheap. I remember bitcoin gold at $300, and not look at them. Hopefully they will recover a bit, although I don't have to many hopes on them.

I don't know if this topic fits in the bitcoin discussion section or not, personally I prefer to put it in the altcoins discussion since it is talking about forks..
However, for the moment, I recommend having at least Bitcoin cash +/- Bitcoin gold ready in your wallets in case you want to trade it at any moment. The others may increase at any moment too so yeah may be it is interesting to have it too in case.
Sometimes, I check this site  http://www.forks.net/list/Bitcoin to see how many forks we have.
As always, send your Bitcoins to a different wallet before swiping your private keys or showing your seed..

I know at one point there was a site which did all of the work for you for the forks. It would gather all of the coins and then send them to the exchange that they were supported on (given you gave them the wallet so they knew where to send it) Does anyone here remember the link for this service / know of this service so I could see it?

I know this site I'm thinking of has all of the shitty forks too, but I know that I personally would have a couple of bucks here and there that could be used for random shit.

I am not really worried as to the fork and I dont mind what forked coins will be successful or not. The one thing I am sure of is that I am keeping my btc in yobit so that when a fork occured I will surely receive the forked coins equal to the amount of btc that I have in my account. Thus in all exchanges I prefer yobit since everytime there is a fork, there is free money.

actually there are more of them. I personally prefer BCA = bitcoin atom, they're bringing atomic swaps decentralized exchange to bitcoin blockchain. You can claim through coinomi for example

That's definetely not a good advice.

First, because keeping money on exchanges is always risky, and a real wallet (you own the private key!) is always a better choice.

Most of these aren't worth the effort of dealing with, too many scams are out there trying to steal private keys. Im only going to redeem mine when my main coins gave been moved to a different rpivate key address.

This was the whole point of the 3d.

- Too many useless fork; i've tried to list just the few who imho are worth claiming
- Follow the official guide (link in the op) and go through the claiming procedure only after moving your btc to a new address for more safety (=avoiding scams)
