I think bitcoin is so dominant because bitcoin is the beginning of crypto currancy, after the appearance of many other crypto currancy bitcoins appear, so bitcoin will remain popular and will remain the number one

i think .at now bitcoin is worldwide .There is no other reason for this. Technically, bitcoin is much weaker than many crypto currency. Such as coins like Ripple or NEM. However, since he was the first he is the most popular. There are a lot of people who know only bitcoin from all crypto currency.

For me bitcoin is the first crypto currency created. Many people know bitcoin than altcoin because bitcoin has a very expensive price so people are interested in bitcoin. Because bitcoin was the first of its kind,the popularity amongst the people doesnt matter at all as long your you keep your bitcoins and altcoins in a safe place.You should know bitcoin is being traded by most of the altcoins which is why bitcoin's value shouldnt under estimated as it dictates the whole market,if bitcoin is going to dump or push the market up. |

being first and all that surely has helped bitcoin in being the dominant cryptocurrency by a great distance from the rest but it is not the main reason for it. the real reason is the usage of bitcoin and the fact that it is delivering on the promises.

As bitcoin is the foundation of all crypto currencies, it is dominant for it usage because you can use it for different transactions having less fee. There will be no other crypto created without bitcoin because it is supported by it. It is mostly use by investors to out their money in order yo earn more profit as its price in the market increase. |

My vision about bitcoin its not only because he was the first but its was because almost all crypto if you sell. what you get is BTC in other words PAIR with BTC so when market btc down the price will have an effect. that's why bitcoin is so dominant in the market. and also not in deny bitcoin is the main crypto currency. |

Yes, one of the reason why bitcoin is the most dominant among all currency its because it is the first crypto currency made successful. A lot of coin are made after bitcoin and most of the coin are just relying to bitcoin. We know that bitcoin is the first currency became so popular and for sure a lot of people will use it. Bitcoin's price may change from time to time but we cant deny that it is the most dominant among all. |

Cause it's blockchain/online-gold and a trendsetter and not promising anything else, so no reason to wait for anything and since it's so old so many people are holding it, which is a process acceslerating itself....not even talking about the 2017 hype.  Hard to imagine another single cryptocurrency becoming as dominant in the market - too many different concepts and long-term-ideas...with all included advantages and disadvantages. |
