Like any get-rich-quick scheme, bitcoin scams thrive on the gullibility of its victims. Just because it's a digital currency doesn't mean you can acquire wealth quickly.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Of course there are always people who will take advantage of people that are new to this industry and do not know about how things works around here. This is natural not just in this industry but in all sorts of industries here in the world. The only defense people can have from these things is proper knowledge. Nothing more, nothing less.

Obviously, you need to follow simple security rules about which everywhere and everywhere write. I have already honestly become annoyed, because I understand everything from the first time, and apparently does not reach others at all.

I don't give my private keys to others and keep it safe also making sure that the website I entered is not a phishing site by bookmarking legitimate website. You could even land on a phishing site by mistyping a URL (web address).

Juts one thing is important, dont be dumb. Never trust a quick rich scheme, there no way something like that will work in long term. There HYIP there lending platform, most of them just ponzi scheme and end up as a scam. Ant there another scam, you can get phised hacked or got that kind of viruses that can stole your data. So be safe, and never click on random link in website or your spam box at email. Also always bookmark important site and use 2fa as aditional security.

You are right in a way that bitcoin and crypto currencies are not get rich quick schemes, but you cannot call them a scam in anyway, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are a reality and an out of the box futuristic solution for global payments and automation of processes.

This sounds very shocking. Almost all ICOs are fake projects, but this is the current situation of ICO. I would rather hold BTC or ETH. this is safe investment.

it's very difficult if you have to get away from scammers, because now there are so many scammers. so we should be more careful in choosing a project if you want to follow bounty and ICO.
if want to get rich quick, we also have to work hard and have a strong principle. instead of deceiving others like the scammers.

Use your common sense.

Well you can't really protect yourselves from scammers 100% because all the scammers are now improving actually you can't tell that the project is scam because of the well presentation, perfect detail of whitepapers, complete infos of the team, etc. The only thing you can do to avoid them is to do a research, read articles, forums and explore more about the scammers and investments topic in order to increase the capacity of your knowledge and tell whether a project is a scam or legit.

However there are some cases even though the project/ICO's meets your criteria but ended up being scammed. Well that's your risk in investing it's either you'll earl or learn.

Here are some tips i can give to you in order to protect yourself from a scammers:
• Don't trust anybody
• When doing transactions always use ESCROW. Use a reputable escrow in doing transactions because sometimes the escrow itself is the scam
• Don't invest if you don't study the project well or you don't have the guts to lose your money.
• Don't trust newbies (They don't have enough reputation and trust in the forum)
• Make your transactions transparent. (Ex. Posting transaction address, etc.)
• Study. Knowledge will be your shield from scammers.

Bitcoin is a currency, so it should vulnerable to being used to leverage money from investors. Like most people say that Bitcoin is a scam, then they made it wrong. Bitcoin is used to scam people and not Bitcoin as scam.

Minimum safety requirements must be observed. Do not transfer your personal keys, passwords, addresses given to third parties. You must rely on your intuition, try to believe only yourself.
