May 2018 - start of the bull run or bull trap?

April is coming to an end and many people believe May will be a good month for the crypto space and the start of the next bull run. Some believe this is a big bull trap being coordinated by whales where btc will pump up to around $11k to $13k and then crash down to $3k to $5k range. What do you think will happen?

we might see a bulltrap in the next month but it does not mean it will goes that low.
it does not make any sense at all to be honest.
if we are moving toward $11.000~$13.000 , at best it will only around $5000 more or than that.
but it could not get any lower than that,logically speaking who will mine it if they do not get any profit from it.
i just hope the trend changes in May so we can see a good movement on every cryptocurrency.

Of course every single person in this thread isn't sure so that's kind of a moot option.
That said, if the previous years were any indication each year has about 2 bull runs, the first lasting from about May-July and a second one at the end of the year. However, experience has taught me that I can't time the market for shit and that no single pattern can be counted on to repeat itself. So I'm doing now what I regret not doing early Januari, that is pulling out the funds I put in (which was about 1/9th of my portfolio worth in January and about 1/5th now - a bird in one hand etc.).

I do not think this is a big bull trap, more and more investors are approaching Bitcoin and Crypto, so the market is pumping is normal. As far as I know sharks can not manipulate market prices

If you are not up with the big ones, you will never know if the price is being manipulated. Its scary to think few individuals can alter the price so much that it affects people on the global scale but it might as well happen to crypto. We will see what the future brings but you can never be comfortable with your investment in crypto.

When talks comes for market predictions it's actually is unpredictable. So  decide your target  and set your goals and get profits but if you are thinking for long term then I will suggest you to buy as much you want in dios and sell some part on high and repeat this to make your tou bigger .

I believe that positive predictions are quite okay about the bull run of the market but we are not sure that the bull run will take place in May 2018. Aprill 2018 ending was a good start for the month of May and we hope it continue to grow higher which might also be a probability.

what happens is that a lot of idiots have heard the 3 letter word called F.U.D. and think to themselves that if they spread some bullshit around they are spreading FUD and they can make the price go down enough for them to buy $10 worth of bitcoin

So far price movement of bitcoin are slowly going up and for me this maybe the indication of bull run cause if this is a bull trap price  improvement should be quickly up fast and fall after several hous .

Based on the current market trend, I had observed every time there is a slight dip, I came to notice that fluctuations aren't so bad at all where it had decreased very minimal and haven't gone below the $9K mark. I am very optimistic that this coming May will be a good month for bitcoin where I hope this will be a bull market and price may rise towards it's greater heights.

can you prove with real data that bitcoin will fall $ 3k to $ 5k. I think you are too wondering, of course every drop like an accident on a few months ago is caused by several factors. and currently, there are no obstacles to the big decline happening again. yes I guess bitcoin will grow in the next few months
