No currency could be used in that way.Even USD getting accepted worldwide,it still is not able to replace other currencies of various nations.Bitcoin too has some drawbacks like limited supply which could not be changed, able to be used only online and could be used easily only by the literate people.

I also don't think this is the achievable. That idea is to ideal. To live in a monopolistic world is so impossible.  There will be  some other people that will always think to build a competition.  Besides life it self is a competition so I don't think living in the world that has only a single currency is impossible

Yes it is possible via crypto this will be one of the reasons why it succeeds.  I believe in this project that pre-Ico this month because they are aiming to bring in the masses with the first ever arbitrage exchange that will allow more profits for the people. What do you think of the project?  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085831.0

I think that Bitcoin can be use as a matter of fact to be globally accepted. What is your take and which currency can you suggest to be accepted globally?
No decentralized crypto currency can be used as the main currency of a particular state or group of states, let alone the whole world because of its high volatility. Only a stable in the price of crypto currency can be used in this capacity. Therefore, bitcoin for the role of global crypto currency is clearly not suitable.

really don't think that bitcoin can become main global currency, replacement for other currencies.
You see, if you pay for some service with fiat money, and somebody deceive you, you can complain to the authorities and you will receive your refund eventually.
With bitcoin, you can't find out real owner of btc wallet and can't complain to the authorities and request refund.
Because of it,

I believe bitcoin is the first choice to be the first global currency if this will be the future but it is only possible if bitcoin will submit to the government since it is created to be not under the power of the government system.

I think no, because no one country want currency created by other country. Bitcoin maybe can be as our world currency, but maybe it's not possible, because the price is not stable.

Bitcoin as a single currency will be a good idea. It can bring bad effect and can also bring good effect.
But doing that, will not be so easy. Because some country are not satified in bitcoin, because of its quality, of being volatile. It can bring big change in our economy. It is a long process, lets just wait and see, for now lets all enjoy bitcoin and support it.
You wrote a lot of text, but said pretty much nothing. Bitcoin as a single currency is an awful idea. It would collapse economies all around the world, there would be nothing to measure it against, and not to mention not everybody would have access. That would fragment the world wide markets and for that reason it can't happen. Alternative it will be, like gold is to fiat and we should all accept this. Doesn't mean though that Bitcoin can't one day reach a 6 or 7 figure price line.

Right on. Bitcoin as a world currency, considering the way it works now, is a pipe dream. One that would be neither feasible, nor useful, at least imo. A single currency implies association with a governing body. And only a global regulatory organization would allow this to happen and it probably wouldn't happen anyway since they wouldn't have much power over it, Bitcoin evolving in the same way it has so far. What we need to do in order to regain our freedom is create a multitude of currencies with various value conferring attributes (tied to a real-life usecase preferably) that would practically act as a safe net against censorship. This is a decent amount of years away, though.

No, bitcoin can not become the only currency that be using by the whole world. I know that bitcoin is so popular for almost all country but it cant replace fiat or anything. Bitcoin is limited it cant contributed in all people in the world.

It is possible and achievable in the likes of cryptocurrency,as we can see that bitcoin is getting global acceptance and if well regulated it can be used
There is nothing in this world which is not possible to achieve and that this thing can happen but for that, a lot of efforts are needed to be made and that the governments of all the countries should be willing on doing so. At this very moment, almost all the countries are having their own currency and that it will be a tough job to make them convince to leave that currency and use one standard currency.

It can because every possibility has a certain chance or percentage to actually happen. However, I also don't see how countries would be that willing to just dump their local currency to adapt cryptocurrency. I mean, for them and for other entities transacting with them, the currency that has more experience and stability under its belt would most likely be the reigning one, and unfortunately, cryptocurrency is not just in that state yet. It's volatility and quick changes strikes fear to many that they can't embrace the concept because they fear that they would lose their money if they do, and I can't blame them.

Anything can happen in this world and right now bitcoin is already used globally they can send and pay bills easily but i think that some countries don't want to use a single currency because they have their own currency and when we use only one currency maybe economy will collapse.

This is correct , leaving their currency is just like they are surrendering themselves not to be called a country , I suggest that instead of leaving their own currency why not accept a second currency that can be accepted by the whole world ?

You have a point mate, but most of the reason why several countries not yet convinced to used bitcoin as their 2nd currency because they're Afraid and not totally believe the potential of bitcoin that seems make their country Improve the economy.

No for each country they must have their own crypto currency and besides bitcoin is a bubble you didn't know when bitcoin would last and it has a limited supply and it cannot support all the country to have single crypto currency.

Look at Bitcoins beginning. It was the one and only. But then others thought that they could benefit if they created their own coin. So in a similar sense, different countries will feel that they do not benefit having said currency and will look for ways to make things better for their people. Though I did not follow Betrix, wasn't it something similar?

I think that is really possible to hapoen. I'd take that from the angle that the digital world keeps on expanding and hence such things are bound to happen. When digital world expands, we need digital currencies to keep (digital currencies we are building now are the cryptocurrencies) up with the expanding digital world. And that is where a possible Global currency, Bitcoin comes in

How do you imagine that? States will all switch to international settlements in bitcoin, instead of their currencies? It's just, what's the point of them doing this? Use bitcoin, which changes its value every half hour? In my opinion, this will not happen. Of course, states can try it. I read that in December of last year Russia supplied Turkey with a barge some goods and calculations were in bitcoin. That is, agreed in advance on the payment of a certain amount in bitcoin. At the time of delivery of goods, its price has increased by about half. That is, one of the parties here has lost twice as much from the value of the contract. Then the price of bitcoin in two months fell from $ 20,000 to $ 6,500. Now the damage has been incurred by the opposite side. Do you think that the states can play such games for a long time?

Using a single currency globally absolutely won't work at all. I'm not on the negative side but as we can see that we have in different local currency in used and changing it for a new one it will be hard. We only just consider crypto currency especially bitcoin will be our other option but not to set it as a single currency to be used globally.
