I live on a military base, and I don't pay for utilities. Am I stupid for not mining? Any reason I shouldn't?

Yeah, because somebody will notice when your electric bill spikes a few hundred percentage points and you will no longer have free electricity.

Also because I doubt you have the infrastructure in your dwelling to be able to leverage free electricity enough to make a profit worth messing with in the first place.

Please DO NOT send me private messages asking for help setting up GPU miners. I will not respond!!!

Definitely some good points. I'd hate to ruin it for the entire barracks.

Maybe not worth for GPU mining, but running ASIC for free is not bad if you can buy it cheaply

How permanently will you be living in the base? Unless you can be sure you'll have consistent free electricity for the next year, and you have access to a large initial investment for a good spec miner, it's too risky an investment to make.
