Hey everyone,

StuffCoins.com is a no reserve auction site meant to be a simple way of getting rid of stuff you dont want and getting bitcoins. Because it is no reserve, its not quite meant for high ticket items, its more for getting rid of those blurays you haven't watched in years.

How the site works:
-List items you no longer want (dvds, games, clothes)
-Users bid btc, no reserve, minimum 0.001
-Seller covers shipping and receives btc upon buyer receipt
-We have a resolution system setup for users not confirming receipt, buyers not shipping, and other scenarios

I created this site to try to fill what I saw as a need. Its a fairly simple way of getting bitcoin, you only have to ship an item and cover shipping. It might be an easy way for people to join in on bitcoins as well as get rid of things they no longer use.

Let me know what you think!

I'm just a lurker since 2011. Back then I sold some gift cards for btc, only ever made 2btc even way back then. Was looking into buying btc when the 2011 mtgox episode happened and scared me off. Now I'm just trying to make up for lost time. I realize it will take some time to build some trust with the community and I'm hoping this idea will gain some traction. btc hoarders can win cheap auctions, new btc users can easily get some btc. It seems like a decent way to help lower the barrier to entry for owning btc. Plus I literally have 100s of items laying around that are just being clutter that I'd like to get rid of even if they dont go for much.

Also thanks for link. I actually seen you link it somewhere else and only skimmed before. Read it this time and its good stuff. One of the many reasons I'm not trying to go after the big ticket item auction space is the liability in dealing with high priced items. I'd much rather just be accountable for peoples old dvds.

So far, this is merely a decent way to promote irresponsibility and laziness among newcomers. When I say tell us about yourself, I mean those details which enable us to verify that you're capable of doing that which you profess to offer. This specifically excludes disorganized musing. If you'd like to run a business and handle people's BTC, you'll have to follow the established steps.

What is up with withdrawals from your site?  I have been waiting a few days now to withdraw the BTC I have on your site.  I had transferred a small amount to your site to bid on an item.  I was outbid and I would now like to withdraw what I deposited on your site.

StuffCoins.com appears to be a scam.  I deposited a small amount of BTC to place a bid.  After being outbit, I requested a withdrawal.  It has been a week and I have not received it.  I have tried multiple times to contact the site admin and have received no response.

Do not send your BTC or DOGE to StuffCoins.com!  Angry

Could you confirm this please?

Edit: Future readers please when reporting a scam include enough evidence that people can look into and confirm, appears that the OP did get a payout after all.

After about 2 weeks, I finally did receive a payout from the site.  It appears that the site is disabling their BTC functionality to focus on DOGE.  Maybe not a scam, but still frustrating.

Hi there. I have emailed you several times about claiming my doge balance from stuffcoins. I sold my item well over a week ago, and haven't received payment to my wallet after 7 days. You state 5 days is the maximum for payment. I would appreciate a response of some kind. I have over 14k doge waiting that I cannot do anything with while it is sitting on your site. I appreciate your hard work, but when you don't respond and don't follow your own guidelines, it makes your site look shady.  username: vacation_money

EDIT: I never received any correspondence of any kind from the site owner. However, I did receive my Dogecoin withdrawal on 4/27. Think I will discontinue use of the site. Bummer.

Indeed. It looked like a great idea, but it has no sense to use it if it has so many problems.
