Gigadice.com is now on the market for a new owner. I have decided to take a job which would consume most of my time and simply will not have enough time to run and market the site. I believe Gigadice will be an industry leader due to the all the unique features and user friendliness. t

Features:

-On Chain Gambling (Satoshidice)
-Off Chain Gambling (JustDice)
-Automated Betting
-Paypal compatibility (Cashouts)
-Litecoin compatibility (Deposits & Cashouts)
-Bitcoin compatibility (Deposits & Cashouts)
-Chat
-Provably Fair
-A flat fee charged on LTC/Paypal cash outs, allowing for the owner to make profit while the site is incurring losses to gamblers.

The site also has everything else you would expect in a gambling site such as bet history, user statistics, etc. Once purchased the individual will receive complete control of the site, servers and anything else which is associated to the site including this Bitcointalk account. The price I’m looking for is 10 - 13 BTC which covers the development costs and can easily be made back. For those interested please feel free to contact me through PM or at admin@gigadice.com

Thanks, it was a tough decision but my job will make running the site physically impossible as I will be away for days on end.

My apologies, Gigadice 2.0 has never been released "officially" to the public as the site was going through an IPO when I decided to sell. The site however did experience over 300,000 in bets in under a day of the IPO going live.

Would you develop a completely different script or are you guys just selling GigaDice's.

How much if I just want the script itself, no domain, no traffic, no hosting.

I do not reap any profits from the sale of GigaDice.

I just developed the site for payment, and am here to answer any technical questions regarding development that he is incapable of answering.

However, I am a freelance developer and willing to do jobs as long as you are not considering purchasing GigaDice.com because I don't want to cause conflict.

Yes, I can write you a script or scripts.  PM me for more information or e-mail me at admin@coinsafe.io or developer@gigadice.com.

Thanks.

So gigadice really has no user value at the moment, right?
Everything has been tested but not yet actually experienced with real users?

The site hasn't been released to the public "officially" although many individuals (300~) have made accounts and tested the site during the IPO stage.

Good luck selling it to those complimenting you to increase their post count so they win more from their signatures.

How come the fact your "IPO", see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=322686.0, that failed so hard is not mentioned here ? Face the facts, your site is worth, at best, 0 bitcoins. Icons copied from primedice, buyer will get fucked at any point by touching paypal, does not even bother using https.

1.  Investing in an IPO is gamble.  Investing in an IPO of gambling site is a GAMBLE.

2.  Icons?  What icons?

3.  Buyer touching PayPal?  How would they be fucked.  Payments only go out.  None come in.  Elaborate?

4.  Site never went live - didn't purchase SSL cert.  He would have purchased an SSL cer at the end of the IPO stage but the IPO stage didn't end.

1.  Investing in an IPO is gamble.

What's the relevance for this auction ? Did you intend to say that the reason the IPO failed is because no one trusted you, therefore no one took the risk ? So why do you think anyone trusts you now to buy the code ?

2.  Icons?  What icons?

Have you seen your own site ? Always good to know the thing you are attempting to sell.

3.  Buyer touching PayPal?  How would they be fucked.  Payments only go out.  None come in.  Elaborate?

Ok, the basics. To make a payment you transfer something from an account X to an account Y. How can you send payments without having an account to send them ? Are you sure you never heard about paypal accounts getting frozen ?

4.  Site never went live - didn't purchase SSL cert.  He would have purchased an SSL cer at the end of the IPO stage but the IPO stage didn't end.

Site is live right now, I can access it although it barely works. So you cannot afford a SSL certificate ?

I wouldn't be one to say people are posting simply for signature rewards as you have over 500 posts in under a month of mostly spam. Secondly the IPO wasn't a failure, look at most of the securities listed on Cryptostocks and there trading volume is far less than those listed on competing sites such as Havelock. Lastly the valuation is fair as Gigadice 1.0 received had the chance to profit over the asking amount but suffered losses due to the Inputs hack and bettors. If you have some sort of personal vendetta or are being paid to "troll', my PM is always open.

Since the first point is a personal belief I will not touch on that. The second point however is completely ludicrous as a pre-IPO investor trusted me with over 50BTC to fund the bankroll of Gigadice 1.0 and to fund the development of Gigadice 2.0. None of the icons are stolen, please show me an exact icon that is found on another site. Your third point obviously means you didn't read the thread regarding the IPO as I clearly explained that my Paypal account wouldn't get frozen as what I'm doing is not against their ToS. Lastly I do have a SSL certificate purchased that will come with the site.

Trusted me?  I was just paid to create the site.  You're way off there.

Have you seen your own site ? Always good to know the thing you are attempting to sell.

Uhm..  Still don't know what you're talking about.

Ok, the basics. To make a payment you transfer something from an account X to an account Y. How can you send payments without having an account to send them ? Are you sure you never heard about paypal accounts getting frozen ?

I'm assuming that whether PayPal payouts will exist is determined by the person that purchases the site.

If they do want to use it, the feature is there.  Whether they can't or refuse to is not GigaDice's fault.

Site is live right now, I can access it although it barely works. So you cannot afford a SSL certificate ?

What I mean by site never went live is that it never accepted bets from bettors or handled any financials (GigaDice 2.0 that is).

Are we talking about GigaDice or other securities ? What's your point for asking me to consider other "securities" ? You're listed at https://cryptostocks.com/securities/65, check the number of shares issued and the trading history. If that is not a failure I have no idea what one looks like.

Not interested in getting involved in that argument but to be fair

Is very similar to our icon

This was custom made for us.

Also stats is copied almost exactly.

PD:

Nonetheless I wish you the best of luck with your sale, if you end up finalizing I'd appreciate it if you changed up these elements a bit. I highly doubt it was intentional anyways.

Good luck!

If you look at both icons you can tell that PrimeDice's was used as a model for GigaDice's but not copied.

It is similar, but did you copyright that?  No..  Get over it.  It's similar and different in many ways.

I will not bring up how you left out the points where you clearly were wrong and instead jump on my word choice in order to have basis for your argument. Nonetheless I will entertain you and answer the questions raised. The IPO was listed on Cryptostocks, be my guest and look at their trading volume. In no way shape or form does this even come close to the volume on any other exchange. Your failure to recognize this is astonishing and proves you're just trying to "troll" my thread. Secondly the large increase in price also made my valuation almost quadruple which turned off plenty of investors. The large price increase also wasn't conducive to ANY security purchase as individuals simply invested in Bitcoin itself and not individual securities as the ROR was higher. The reason I say "had the chance" because simply put "we had the chance" but due to bets not going our ways we didn't profit, over the course of 2 weeks we went down roughly 22 BTC.

I'd advise everyone to hire a 3rd party security analyst and perform an audit before risking any coins. I'd prefer if these "hypothetical" scenarios were kept off this thread as they're baseless.

You can pay someone such a small amount to audit code.

Reading code takes a few hours if that, writing it, testing it, and making sure it's secure is a different story.

You can't sell services to the best of my knowledge.  You can provide them.

No I am not providing Auditing service.

I prefer to write code rather than read other people's code.

Also me auditing GigaDice would never happen because it's a conflict of interest.

None of the icons are stolen, please show me an exact icon that is found on another site. .

Not interested in getting involved in that argument but to be fair

Is very similar to our icon

This was custom made for us.

Also stats is copied almost exactly.

GD: http://gyazo.com/25c6f7b5807b9d3be7d1ac8f5fe9e158

Nobody cared that Samsung used rounded corners on the home button AND that violated a design patent.

Calm down.

God, that soooounds sooo much like the dice.sx guy... of course I can fucking steal shit, it's bitcoin, there's no penalty for fucking screwing a guy who actually did the work first!

I fail to realize how having maybe two icons look similar is "stealing" especially since I've been trying so hard innovate. If you think this is stealing how about taking entire concepts, what primedice did with the "chat" on their site.

Watching with interest. IPO wasn't a complete failure...I bought several hundred shares and had high hopes for the site. Still do Smiley

Thanks you, I know the new owners will do their best and continue to innovate.

YOUR OWN CREATOR STATED AND I QUOTE " I USED PRIMEDICE ICONS AS THE BASE FOR IT" and as we can see by the final result, didnt change it much (at all)...

So your arguement doesn't stand.

Stake only did the back end coding, the design was done by someone else. Please don't comment on things you don't fully understand. To confirm this is true.

that's pretty misleading, i think and really bad advertising. the site is live and it confirms, on the site at least, the cashout of said 1BTC.

so i guess, lots of people are waiting for their free money, which will probably never show up, resulting in a burned reputation right before the start/selling....bad bad move.

The coins are "fake" coins, which are added to everyone's account when they create one. For this reason deposits/cash outs have been disabled.

that wasnt/isnt written anywhere on the page (links like faq etc dont work, remember?), also cashout is not disabled. it said "sent" a few minutes ago after a payout request of the full amount.

well, just  looks like another money grab/gambling site fail.

good thing this thread isn't self-moderated.  Smiley

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect that. The fact is that I explicitly stated that the coins were "fake coins" so individuals could play around before they decide to invest in a separate thread regarding the IPO. I assume I could remove Cash outs entirely while trying to sell the site, but from an prospective buyer it would not bode well as I personally would like to see everything before making such a large purchase. It is much more logical and simple for me to detach the account which would pay cash outs than make massive changes to the code for something so petty. In regards to the FAQ's they are currently being edited and thus have been removed as most of the questions/answers are no longer relevant. Lastly Gigadice would have to be the most expensive/time consuming "money grab" I have ever seen as I've spent over 6 months and thousand's developing it, comments like yours deeply sadden me. Nonetheless if you have any more questions or would like to inquire on anything my PM and email (admin@gigadice.com) is always open.

This isn't a troll question as prospective buyers should know how much time will be invested running the site. The site itself is pretty much entirely automatic although for the site to grow the owner will have to spend time interacting with users on a daily basis and solving any problems which may arise. I'd say the first month or so will require a few hours a day till the site can establish itself within the community.

As the bids only vary by maybe 1-2 BTC, I'm not to fussed. I'm looking at who would operate the site to its full potential. The highest bid however is 23 BTC including escrow fees.

@Jungian

Yes, you're correct. I will try my best to have the coins back to the investors ASAP. The support at Cryptostocks is atrocious and accomplishing even the most menial tasks is quite the hassle.

Thankyou for responding regarding the matter. Hopefully all is paid back as reputation is a necessity in this game.

Yes, I have been busy trying to get everyone's investment back from the IPO so I haven't contacted the interested buyers yet. The price is also now negotiable as the price of BTC has skyrocketed since the posting of this topic.

@IPO investors: Cryptostocks made an error during the refund process and I'm trying to sort things out with them so the coins are sent to you ASAP.

hello,

first of all good luck with the sale Smiley

second, you might want to talk to your dev regarding this system... is a very inefficient code i tried testing it and, it was lag all over, my first tough was that my internet connection is bad but, when i looked at the code why... i saw hundreds of unnecessary request done from my browser, this also affects your server's performances ...

there is also not much filters on your website so its very big security issue there ...

the game looks good but it also has to be efficient... try keeping that in mind, maybe thats why you don't have a user base yet.

anyone trying to buy this... the website looks ok but needs more development on it so its not a finalised project.

i'm sharing my opinion so no one gets screwed over.

Yep, ASAP would be good as it's doing huge damage to gigadice reputation. That's not good when your trying to sell.

Gigadice...  WHY are we still waiting for refunds and you're not updating us on why they're not coming through??  Please hurry this process up and keep us informed as to what is happening. If you're trying to sell the site, it'll be a little bit harder to sell if the potential clients think you've stolen bitcoin from previous stockholders.

I have sent Cryptostocks 6 seperate emails begging them to refund anyone who had invested and each email has gotten a fluffy response. Hopefully my last "angry" email will get a response out of them and the coins are sent back to their respective owners.

Cryptostocks has finally responded and will issue the refunds when they receive my latest email. These last few weeks have been extremely chaotic for me and haven't gotten a chance to sort out any deals with prospective buyers. I have decided to lower the price, that I'm looking for to 13-15 BTC to go with the price change BTC has went through. Sorry if this post doesn't make much sense, haven't went to sleep in over 30 hours.

For those who have messaged me, the site is still for sale. The price has been lowered to 15 BTC to compensate for the price increase of BTC.

@IPO investors the refunds have been sent out. I'm truly sorry for the delay and commend the admins at Cryptostocks for cooperating.

I start my job in the upcoming weeks and looking to sell Gigadice before I begin. I have lowered the price to 10-13 BTC to allow for those who were previously interested to purchase the site at a discount.

For those who have messaged me over the last few weeks, I was on vacation and didn't check my messages on a regular basis. I have responded to those who have PM'ed me and still looking for a suitable buyer.

The server went offline during my time away and will I will look to renew it tonight.

I think I have found a buyer who may not require me to renew hosting as they will find their own servers. If the deal falls through I will most definitely renew the hosting.

If the deal falls through? You mean, the site wasn't even generating enough revenue to pay for the hosting?!?! Why would you not renew the hosting if your trying to sell it?  Isn't that sort of like removing the engine from a car you plan on selling?

Regardless, I'm sure this is little consolation to those people that invested in gdice early on and subsequently lost.
So basically, everybody loses here but you huh? Highly suspect.

In the immortal words of Lando Calrissian: "This deal is getting worse all the time!"

For those interested the site is pretty much sold, unless someone wishes to add a last second bid. The site will most likely be off the market by the end of the week so if you're interested feel free to contact me.
