Amoveo has an active governance upgrade.
The block reward might decrease by about 30%, or it might stay the same.

oracle id: FhbnDw8UWS0ZhtI4/c87YQmwdxXa71NUaadhP9Igzsw=

You can look up about this oracle from any light node  http://139.59.144.76:8080/wallet.html

Amoveo uses futarchy to power the oracle, and to power governance.
Governance controls many variables that define the Amoveo protocol, including the block reward.
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

There is a security issue with brain wallets in the light node.
If you used a brain wallet, then you need to move your veo to a new address as soon as possible.
In a few days I will do an update to fix brain wallets, this will make old brain wallets inaccessible.
I will also burn any leftover unsecured Veo.

Wow no one hanging out here these days?

This is one of the most undervalued coins on the market. Gotta pump up the thread.

Hi,

This is to alert other people who might have gotten into such mess.

I made a big mistake. Just got scammed of 59 VEO because of carelessness.

Rampant#7928 (discord user) message me with a deal and I accepted it - https://ibb.co/h2jKrDd https://ibb.co/T0WPfSm. He asked to contact sONk for escrow. He made a server with 3 of us. The timing was such I did not remember to see the discord id. I wasn't thinking right.

I sent him a small txn and he confirmed. https://veoscan.io/tx/e%252Bt0kqvr2z6p5YraLz3vIJ0jwdAEbVkfDYGcjXqqcA0%253D/4

Then, I sent him all of it at once(stupid me thinking I was sending it all to an escrow) - https://veoscan.io/tx/e%252Bt0kqvr2z6p5YraLz3vIJ0jwdAEbVkfDYGcjXqqcA0%253D/5

In all, sent 59 VEO

Just after I sent, he deleted everything at that time and that's when I realize I got scammed.

Just lost all of my VEO holding.

This was the address to which it was sent.
 https://veoscan.io/account/BMoSc%252B5TgNEOLD4TNadjxwoJQBEz1K549Ge44pLQOOelb5xwCJX5ols%252BG47Febn75lAXJf3tEAqeDxYgn6IUaqo%253D

I know I should have a cross check multiple times and it was too good a deal to accept it(0.06 BTC for 1 Veo)
But I forgot all the basic hygiene. Accumulated for 8 months and then lost it all in 8 seconds.

The bitcointalk profile of the scammer - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1984496

The sad part is I was checking his discord and other activities and he was once close to a scam by someone else- https://ibb.co/z7RV5s0 (This is from Vertical discord group). I do not why would he do this to me.

Is there something can be done? Or should I just accept defeat?

Edit: The user changed his name. His discord name previously was QueenFlorence#7928

Edit 2:  He changed his name again from Tormad0r to Rampant

Awesome to see Amoveo listed on yet another crypto exchange, Graviex. We have a FPGA bitstream for VEO. It is one of the most profitable coins right now!

Hi,

I make new mining software for VCU1525 cards (and other clones) for AMOVEO coin with 20GH/s hashrate (4% fee),

https://github.com/dedmarozz/Amoveo-VCU1525-FPGA-Miner/releases

https://amoveo.io/

veopool.pw

Its first version, i try increase hashrate in next build, i think 25GH/s is possible.

I can ported this software on Bittwire CVP-13 board but i do not have any board and i dont have Vivado licence on this VU13P FPGA, can somebody help?

Thanks for any help

Came across this project looking at undervalued chains to mine.. Looks really promising. Going to do some spec mining on it and hopefully it will gain some traction soon.

Looks like it has an operational main net and solid tech.. best of luck to the team.

Weekly Community Update #2:

News

  • The activation of a hard update was pushed back due to security issues. There is going to be a little more review before the hard fork is scheduled. The update will include a new interface for the channels in the light node, removing the encrypted messaging, which proved to be a pain point for everyone testing p2p derivatives over the last couple of weeks.
  • HitBTC trading is live again. Last week, HitBTC temporarily froze VEO trading and withdrawals, with the latter still being suspended and expected to go live again in the coming days.
  • Amoveo was listed on CoinLib: https://coinlib.io/coin/VEO/Amoveo.
  • An Amoveo desktop wallet for iOS, Windows and Linux by exan.tech is complete and is being fine-tuned at the moment. Expect an announcement soon 😉.

Community

Development
  • There are 14 open issues in the Amoveo depo.
  • There were 13 commits created in 5 repositories.

Mining

Q & A

Q: What's the price for stablecoin in VEO?

A: 0. free.Stablecoin in Amoveo is a contract between 2 individuals. 100% of the money in that contract ends up going to the 2 individuals. There is a flat fee for making a channel, but once the channel exists you can do as many contracts in it as you want for free.

Thanks.
But seems no total supplying coins.

coinmarketcap and coinpaprika report total and circulating supply pretty accurately. 59,351 VEO circulating, 61,156 VEO total at the moment.
and the overall total supply is unlimited.
