Dammit I gotta get some sleep and the auction ends in 3 hours. Ohwell, I guess my last bid will be 2.15 x 8 ..if I win I win if I lose I lose (most likely to the deep pocketed Truman hehe)

You could buy them for 1.5Btc each, not long ago, when BTC price were lower.
Good luck anyway.

True, until the btc price made everyone scamble for additional hashing power. They were overpriced then they are overpriced now. The only reason I'd be willing to pay 2.x is to replace my power sucking heat producing Avalons - which most likely I'll sell to cover some of cost of these miners. I have heard that cryptx provides no warranty for these so I'm a bit concerned about that. Not even a 30 day RMA period in case the boards contain a defect?

Nope. No RMA. No communication. Nothing. Once he sells you the board, you are on your own. He will not respond if you tell him you are having problems with your board. One of my boards died within 36 hours. I sent PMs, I posted on his threads, I sent email to the shop, no response. But he is quick to put up auction after auction. It's all a money grab.

Wow, then I'm glad I did not win.

Truman, congratulations and best of luck to you. Welcome to the miners club. Your membership card will be in the mail Smiley

The Jupiter was sold for $ 5,000 and makes around 550 GH/s, thats $ 9 per GH/s.
These things sell for $ 2,000 and make 50 GH/s, thats $ 40 per GH/s.

@cryptx: Could you please write a statement about this? Thank you very much!

In this last batch we have sold hundreds of boards to hundreds of different customers.

All the boards were tested extensively. This last batch has been hashing for weeks and we had zero! boards broken while hashing.

Generally speaking, customers do things with these boards which are not in our control. We have had mails about set-ups which are destined to break boards. Because of this we do not give guarantees on the boards and this is also stated in the terms and conditions on our website. These terms and conditions are approved on while buying the boards. And dont expect good support after sale
I got one board with the first batch that only gives me 19 GHash.
Supportmails were not answered until I posted in the next sales thread.
You must have the wrong settings!? tried the ones cryptx gave me and...
... getting less than 15 Ghash
Than cryptx told me it must be the pool, so I tested 3 other pools and its all the same!!!
19Ghash a max.

I now remembered him two times of my problem but again and again I get no response to my mails...

that sucks!

Instead of complaining here, why don't you guys just give cryptx a bad rating on his feedback to warn other buyers?

That's likey cause some (probably a LOT of if you're getting that low hash rate) of the bitfury chips are either a) "bad" - hash but hash at a significantly reduced rate b) dead - ie dead completely.

I have bitfury h-cards and like everyone else a few of the chips of many boards are just dead - refuse to hash no matter what no matter what voltage they are given. However, even though it might technically not be cryptx's fault the chips are bad he should to the right thing and refund you the difference in lost hashing power.

I purchased an 8 board set from cryptx and I am happy, all USB ports worked.  Bitburner Fury's do have some quirks in general however...

Got 2 boards from cryptx, 1st and 2nd batch. Support was great even though usb fell off (my own fault). They hooked me up with canbus cable and both hashing at 97ghz average. Had to use pickit3 to update hex file, but it was all good after that. Cryptx even sent me 2 refunds through paypal as promised. I would do business with cryptx again.
