many peoples come into crypto, even the evil ones too. one thing about crpyto is you must protect your own wallet. if your wallet exposed, it will be the end. we have full control on our wallet, keep it safe. |

Was just going to share that story too, it was all over the news when it happened. It really also highlights the point that privacy is definitely important when you're dealing with Bitcoin or money in general. Indeed, you shouldn't go around boasting that you're owning Bitcoin. It's definitely a sure way to put yourself on the radar of such criminals. |

Yeah, I exactly agree to you... Nowadays it is a common problem not only in Dubai but also in lots of country.... Scam and other related problem arose today... I think Bitcoin is gaining its popularity and its a normal occurrence... Some people especially those who has a negative motives will als penetrate here... Its quite alarming... Everyone of us should to be aware of it... Its very difficult to earn here that's why everyone should need to know it...

the robber is very bad, for bitcoin users. because the robbers are very uneasy about the bitcoiners. because the bitcoiners have struggled to collect a little to meet the cost of living. but sometimes taken or stolen by irresponsible robbers. |

the funny thing is it had nothing to do with bitcoin. it is the dumbness of the people. they might as well have been robbed of their cash, gold or anything else of value they had if they flashed it around like that. it is like bagging to be robbed or sending an open invitation to all the thieves to come and rob them. |

It's really sad to know that in different places we notice that there are a lot of issue in regards in cryptocurrency. There are a scamming portion in some other places and there are robberies portion in dubai. In what happening now, we do recognize how people are eagerly desperate to do foolish things to others just to have crypto. This is another negative things that can really brings bad effects to cryptosystem.

yeah we know that bitcoin is usually used by the cirimnal to send a money or receive the money because it can't traceable by the government and the police and of course police will ot know the owner of that address, so i think bitcoin is the safest place to transaction if you want to makes people dont know who you are

wow, do they have no other way to get bitcoin? I see today many people are interested in bitcoin, not just in dubai. anything way to get bitcoin.
a few months ago, more than 600 computer mining devices on the islandia reportedly stolen. consequently the loss reaches $ 2000000.
so, criminals not only steal the contents of the bicoin wallet, but also steal mining devices.
I think we should be more careful. store and secure our bitcoin asset.

Two brothers were looking to buy BTC and they were lured in by a supposed gang. The interesting thing here is that the dubai police willingly and proudly stated that their “smart program: involving the use of Artificial Intelligence was used in apprehending the perpetrators. How deep does the Dubai Police penetrate the communications in their city? And is this for or against what their laws govern. |

it is like hackers where they find their victims who have large money. Like criminals, they are the reason why government take action and bitcoin get affected y it because they have too take an action for those who abuse the use of the money and used for illegal to earn for more. To avoid to be robbed, be careful on what you have, make sure that you keep it safe with strong security. |

every year, criminal acts increase high, online theft (hackers), or theft offline, meaning they steal by doing theft without hacking the system. but I think more theft events with the hacking system.
and more hackers dominate stealing shares in every exchange.

Just like what happens here our country a cybercrime related bitcoin scammer caught by the police he took worth of million using bitcoin for investment. Just research "A list of scamming allegations against Xian Gaza" he has the biggest scam here in our country using bitcoin but now he was in jail. These kinds of people who destroy the reputation of bitcoin must in jail and be punished by the law.
Reputation of bitcoin is not destroyed by theives. By that logic even the dollar's reputation should be destroyed. But yet US fucking capitalism exists. We have media to destroy the reputation of bitcoin. |

Earlier this month, Cointelegraph reported on a heist involving an in-person Bitcoin transaction in Singapore, in which a Malaysian man was assaulted and robbed of $365,000 in cash by two bogus Bitcoin brokers in his hotel.
hopefully such incidents for the future diminish and if it could even have no more crime so everyone will feel safe wherever and whenever, let alone the incident involving the name of bitcoin certainly can spread the issue is not delicious Yes of course we can hope that this type of crime should diminish but in reality as crypto currency gets more popular I am pretty sure more people will be interested on stealing it. I think this will be one of the positive side when a government recognize crypto currency as a legitimate currency. They can create laws and protect Bitcoin/crypto currency users against these type of criminals. |

The news is just unbelievable. Armed robbery in trading? Really? Why need to set up a meeting if they just can hack (assuming they can) some exchanges. This is just plain ridiculous.
