Miners from Pakistan

Hi Guys,

I am from Lahore Pakistan usually mining BTC using CEX and Alt-Coins with my GPU. Wondering if there are others here and what coins you mine? Follow up with your city / coin. Maybe we could share information / suggestions locally including hardware.

My Current hardware, 1 6950, 2 6970, 1 6990, 1 5870 and hopefully soon a 7970. Total Hash power of roughly 2.5 MH/s. I do plan to increase this to 4 sometime soon.

I know another guy who's been mining BTC since at least 2012. Then there is a guy who's into LTC mining from back when CPU mining was still viable. This forum does not represent the situation of Pakistan as a whole.

That is why i used the word probably. But i am sure that I am the only Pakistani miner who is active in forums as well since April 2013.

Have you noticed every new guy who shows up wants to know about mining? One experienced member made a thread telling newbies not to mine:

No wonder BTC difficulty went up 30% again.

Well He is 100 % right but that only applies to Bitcoin because of it's difficulty. He is also right about the point that there is no free money in mining. You must invest in hardware or directly purchase some Bitcoins or alts only then you can think of earning some money.

Altcoin mining is the best bet at this moment but it won't take too long for Asic developers to change the game here as well. With in a year I can see those coming.

So this is the best time to get invested.

Phoenix coin can never fail as long as I am in the team.

I hold more then 100k of them

And just going to buy a new mining rig.
