EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY

Their are quite a lot of persons that have heard about bitcoin but have not really know about it. The blockchain technology should be part of education in schools in my own opinion. I do make out time as well to teach people about blockchain technology and to educate people about bitcoin

I think educating people about cryptocurrency is a good step to making the world appreciate the crypto world and develop a better sense of interest in it. Imagine every member of this forum educates about 5 people per week over a month period. that alot of people we going to educate after the month period. and that is lot of people going to have interest in joining cryptocurrency. personally, i thinking educating people about crypto is very laudable.

Unfortunately, people now sees cryptocurrency as something to invest in instead of a form of payment. An asset, commodity, store of value, instead of a currency to pay for goods and services. I just hope that they don't use the term investment because this is not what crypto is all about.

My thoughts exactly. It's quite disappointing to be honest, how crypto got stuck into merely being an investment or asset. It just undermines the reason it was designed in the first place. But I am hopeful that universities will be objective and comprehensive when it comes to teaching about cryptocurrencies. I think schools are one of the best platforms for prepping the world as it shifts to a digital future.

Educating the people is the key so that they would understand it deeply and not just hearing or seeing it from someone else and they would easily just or brand it as scam. We should be the one who will take the initiative to inform them since we are already a part of cryptocurrency world so we should let them understand it and how it was able to help us and what its future might be so that they would imagine something that has a purpose and may think of becoming a part of it.

I agree with both of these comments. Sadly, because of the rapid rise in price it has made a lot of people sit up and take notice, but for all the wrong reasons. Seen as a get rich quick scheme, people are blindly throwing money into something they don't understand or know nothing about. It's scary really. I also agree that there needs to some education at school as university is not attended by everyone and you would need to choose a relevant course to learn. In an ever increasing digital world, we need to prepare young people for the future, and like you say school is one of the best platforms.

    If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
   Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.

I agree that this is a nice idea to educate people about the importance of crypto currencies. We help them to learn more about this new technology in order to let them know  about crypto currencies and how it work through the block chain.
