ermm ok ive done the above, but get this i logged back into my account on localhost and my balance is the same as it was before i sent the coins to my friend, he has recieved the coins and its not in my transaction history. tht cant be right

Hehe, what's ur latest block number? U should be lucky u managed to send money and still have them

Aye. That's why u still don't see that transaction. When ur server catches up 3424th block u'll see u have less money on the balance.

Edit: Or ur friend will see he has no that money if transaction expires.

If u have 51% of all coins u can outpace us. But better if u got the most recent block.

If a block wasn't empty u'll see a transaction that sends fee to ur account. Recent blocks show who generated them. http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=1 can be used to see number of generated blocks.

That time is just an assessment. It's changed after each block.

I had some thoughts about Nxt the last few days and what it would need to grow. this is my list:

offer pool mining
> otherwise small holders never gonna see any mining profit for their whole life
> also if some small miner suddenly finds a block and there is no transaction in it...

redesign the interface, clean&professional look (offer bounty)
> the interface looks pretty amateurish(childish) right now

offer an all in one client
> offer the browser part optional

create a documentation with screenshots for new users for the interface
> easier entry for new users

create a detailed documentation on important topics
> mining, transactions, etc.

change the login to ID + password if possible
> more security

create an exchange
> no more forum only trades (risk of scams)

Create a central website&forum, including a blog about latest developments etc.
> all information & news in one place, also better for promotion of the project, transparency

Clearly explain and lay out all the benefits Nxt has, compared to alts/bitcoin
> again should help to promote the project and shows transparency


I mostly tried to offer some ideas, maybe you find it helpful. its obviously only my personal opinion..

btw, im not an early investor, i only got something from giveaways. (just so you know my background in Nxt)
