high risk is true if investing in ico is also very profitable if the project is a big success. my advice if you want to invest in ico do research right from a good manager, a solid team and the project plan.

Yes it is worth to invest in an ICO, even though there's a high risk factor of being bankruptcy. Because investing gain you high profit rather than doing bounties, there is a lot of bonuses and discounts. But remember to choose the right ICO to invest with for you to not be risking your money for a scam one. Thank you

If you choose to invest in an ICO, in most cases, you're just investing in an idea so the people who say it is risky are just being realistic and that is the truth. There's another side though as well, if you have experience in crypro and you really research an ICO thoroughly then there is a chance that by investing as early and the ICO or even Pre-ICOand taking advantage of the benetics then you can make a really big profit later on when the project goes well in the markets.

Just for for the ICO proposed product. If it is very usable in the crypto community and the people all over the world. It is also a plus if the Developers and Advisers are well known in crypto industry like Dan Larimer or Vitalik Buterin.

I truly believe that investing to an ICO really takes so much risk, but if you find a project that's legitimate and reliable, it surely give you the profit that you'd never expected. But before that, you need to make a lot of research first about the ICO that you'd like to invest in, to avoid of losing a lot of money.

As always it depends on the project. Some u`ll get a profit after it was introduced to market and some price drops. Sometimes, depends in the value of ETH during ICO started and time of distribution of token.

Sometimes worth it, sometimes it's not. If it was so easy, like you invest - you gets profit, everyone would be investors. You can invest in bad ICO and get losses, you can invest in some scam. You need to be careful with it and you will get a big profit.

In january there was trend that ever ico got x3 x4 when they enter he exchange. It may happen again but still not worth the risk.

Investing in an ICO is high risk high reward. I only choose ICOs where the company has a working product with users/clients. If they don't I choose to stay away. It's my way of reducing the risk associated with participating in an ICO. I am wondering about people investing in an ICO if it is really worth because base on my obvservation there are many investors on ICO period and i do not know some would always say that investing in an ICO is risky. I would like to get the investors idea directly if they were really successful in their investment or the haters that say investing in ICO risky is really true. This is also more like a small study for future references that someday i am going to invest in an ICO since i have seen a great potential in investing on it. Thus, i have seen many discounts offering bonuses and that is the good thing that happen in joining in ICO investments. Hopefully i could get some answers in the forum.

 There are lots of ICOs that have only white paper and a fancy website but no idea or plan for making their tokens not just a words in the air. Don’t invest in such things, be smart. |

Of course its worth it when you do the correct timing of everything. Many success stories has been made and may people became millionaires already through investing in ICO yet we should take all the risk in investment and be ready in everything that may happen.

Look for projects that solve some real problems and offer something beyond just the words about how cool their token will rise in the future. This might not be very complex project, absolutely. |

Honestly and personally i could not say if it is worth it or not, but the fact will always be this, it is really risky and you have to accept that before you decide about your next move. Not to complicate things but first you really have to examine further the ICO you are going to invest with, then decide whether you will risk or not, that is the only way you will know if it is worth the risk or not.

Yes it is, and it can also be very profitable if you happen to join and invest in an successful ICO. While there are a lot of ICOs popping up in the market and in the forums that doesn't mean that all of them are profitable because sadly most ICOs nowadays turns out to be scam or failure just do your assignment and research carefully before you start investing in.
