I've been thinking about the possibilities of Bitcoin, and how it could be used for reasons other than it's original purpose.

For example, it could be used as a means of sending small amounts of data from one location to another. Why would you use bitcoin? I don't know yet...but the property of the data itself having a value is intriguing.

It's a similar principle to using a mobile phone to trigger a bomb, but with Bitcoin it could be easily coded to have multiple outcomes based on amount of coins sent.

Doesn't need to be expensive. You could send a load of transactions such as 0.0000ASCII CODE HERE

Seems point-to-point VPN would be more lightweight if you needed to communicate.

If you want to be REALLY evil, you can link your game to a specific Bitcoin (one satoshi), and require that people have that satoshi in their wallet to be able to play, thus forcing you to only have one copy. Of course that'll cost a few grand to set up, and will be cracked in half a day.
