As a bounty participant I participated not only 1 of my projects but I chose many projects at least 20 bounty I followed and I chose accordingly what I learned about the bounty project I participated.

Bounty is not a waste of time but if that certain bounty campaign dont give you salary or tokens thats the time we can call it a waste of time. Bounty, in my opinion, is to fill the void of time because I am a trader and I am not fully in the market for a long time because it is so boring.
So I make bounty a second job besides trading, it's great fun if we join the right bounty and get big profit but not all bounty gives us big rewards, basically, the bounty is luck coming from our hard work. Before participating in a bounty campaign I personally do a very detailed analysis: I am well informed about the project and if I have time I read the whitepaper too, I see that if it has a valuable team and advisors, and if the bounty campaign is managed by a reliable bounty manager, you are mostly paid your reward.

I personally trust the managers who carry out the bounty. Also analyze personally, but it gives a small effectiveness, as he bounty Manager can be deceived, and the project to be a copy of a successful bounty.
