It depends on which bounty campaign you are talking about.
I have encountered with several scam bounties which gave me tokens worth nothing in the end.
We should be more cautious now.

It is sometimes a waste of time as the tokens just keep losing value. For the moment, it is better to sell immediately after the release of the tokens. It all depends on the health of Bitcoin.

Well for me bounty campaign is the best for me because it is my only way how I will earn here in bitcointalk. I just always double check all the projects that I am about to participate in order for me to avoid being scammed by an ICO.
I think it's the most important thing today. Now the number of failed / fraudulent projects has increased to such an extent that you can get to them 2-3 times in a row. I think it hits some pretty hard. So check thoroughly. It is better to spend a month on a choice than without proper verification to get several scammers in a row.

There are a lot of useless rewards out there, and there are a lot of people who get worthless COINS or no rewards for months of work done. Because some ICO doesn't even reach the soft hat.

So be sure to choose some projects that have potential in your reward program.

Follow the project you can see with the sale of the token. Because this is very important when you are following the project for 2 to 4 months, of course, it's not the time for a bit. And when you are sure that it will get in return will certainly be very much fun. And suddenly you hear that the project has ceased of course this will be very disappointing and stop because sales have yet to reach soft cap. Choose the project with sales to reach soft cap is very important.

Bounties are "ruined" because of:
- "Scam"/Low quality ICOs
- Bounty participiants with multiple entries, broken english etc.

I see these two as the main problem of bounties, and it seems bounty rewards are "wasted" on spammers, while who provide more quality content, will not benefit from it. That is why there are so many spammers.

I think personally, There are currently many scam gifts so be sure to do some research first about the gift and if the prize campaign is a huge income. Because it gives you the opportunity to join Ico without putting or investing your money on them. But it takes a month do not like to invest just waiting for the exchanger and waiting for a good profit.

I can totally agree with you if you would choose the trash from them,  but I'm highly persuaded that from among bounty campaigns there are some, that are really treasure. You just need to dig deep in order to find them.

There is only work with social networks, the income is very small.

The income for social networks would be very small though there is a lot of work that could be done on it. The income could get larger.

I will use my free time to complete some bounty tasks. Although I often encounter these situations (deceptive tasks), I don't think it will affect me very much! I can still earn a small amount of rewards from some bounty quests! Selecting a task I will usually look at its bounty manager, its product introduction and market demand!

Although there are lot of scam project in crypto now and one need to e very careful before investing or joining a campaign in other not to waste time and not get reward but for me, I take my time to participate I bounties where they have very good and clear whitepaper and I also study the roadmap. I also check the manager and do a very good research about his previous work and achievement in doing bounty and since I have been doing bounty or signature, I have gotten good rewards and also made profit after they get listed for exchange.

It depends on the bounty campaign there are some campaign that just ends up as a scam and it is totally a waste of time,
But there are some who pays and bounty rewards are really high just imagine doing something for about a couple of hours a day and you would be rewarded after the campaign.
So for me it really depends on the bounty if it is just a waste of time or a great passive income.

Why did you call the bounty campaign passive income? After all, to get awards you need a lot of things to do

I agree with this. You need to do some things in order to get tokens or income. In signature campaign, it requires you to post  about something related to the topic you chose and there is a required number of post according to your rank. Other campaigns too requires you to do something before to earn some tokens or money so I really don't think that its a passive in come. You just need to be patient to get some income.

I do not agree that bounty is passive income. It's not a small job. Invested a lot of time and effort. You can even call it intellectual work. Many write that because of the large number of participants in the bounty will not earn

Cryptocurrency comes with a lot of surprises, you're not entirely sure what you're getting until you've opened the box. The surprises doesn't end with market volatility but also in bounties, my strategy is to participate in as many as, anyone that ends up paying. Fine.

In most cases it is worth participating in the bounty.  This is really a good way to earn coins.

If you do not have money or you do not want to risk and invest in ICO, then it's worth participating in the bounty to get coins.

I join a bounty company only if I study the project and I like it or it will have a lot of advertising and a lot of people will talk about it. But now in bounty companies there are a lot of people (1500 - 2000 people) and the reward at the end will be very small, 10-20 dollars. Time bounty companies gone (

Its both waste if time and great passive income. Still its good even though I'm wasting time as long as it gives me rewards after all its compensate the effort. So for me keep on joining campaign and keep on posting in the end learning and earning is a good thing.
