Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income?

Joining bounty campaigns is a great way to earn income, but not really passive income since you really have to do the activities as required by the bounty manager.

You can only gain passive income when you really don't have to do anything, something like when you invest money and just wait for it to grow.

For me, joining bounty campaigns will help generate income from all the work that you do, and some campaigns might pay, while some others won't.

The best thing to do is to join campaigns with reputable managers plus conducting your own research on the ICO to know if it's bound to become successful or not.

First and foremost, I don't think bounties are a passive income stream. It's an active income. Passive means money works for you. As a bounty hunter, you should spend time and effort to get stakes and earn tokens for your hardwork. For me, it is worth as long both the project and bounty manager are highly trusted, reputable and with integrity. We might not blame them if they dump it, after all, they did their part in helping to promote an ICO. Yes, we all need money, and it's normal for them to cash it out once it opens on the market.

A bounty campaign can not be a passive income because you need to make an effort to do advertising for the project. But you can make money even when the market is red if you choose a prospective project.

Bounty campaign is not a waste of time for me because this is all that i do to earn money. Joining in bounty signature campaign and in social media campaign to earn reward until end of the project.

I think the best times of bounty campaigns has gone . With a glut of the market and non-stop increasing amount of bounty participants bounties will become a waste of time soon . Nowadays , unpaid bounties or coins which are lose 70% of value after getting to exchanges is a common thing , so I definitely can't name it a "great passive income" =\

If you have free time, then it's worth participating in the bounty.  If the company has reached the soft cap, then you will get your coins.

yeah you are correct it's hard to find a good ICO nowadays. I think it's not a waste of time if we found the right bounty . personally I check their whitepaper,concept , activities and popularity to choose a good bounty. you'll learn to find the right one with experiences

There is no standard unit for determining the authenticity of a bounty campaign. We join with hopes of getting better results at the end. Many end up being scam projects yet we join new ones each time. One may ask why? It’s simply because if yours ends well, you get enough reward.

I do not agree that bounty is passive income. It's not a small job. Invested a lot of time and effort. You can even call it intellectual work. I still believe in bounty. because almost one years this is become my daily work , and I already raised some fund on this. so this feel like working as a freelancer. then we must be carefull before join to some bounty. just do your own  research first. and the tips for me , Join on bounty who already have an working product an real team.

Yes, the bounty is a good way to earn.  But now it has become harder to find a good company with good potential.

Not waste of time and not a great passive income. It depends on your earnings. Some earn more than 2000-3000 k from bounties. Maybe they earn this amount from a single bounty But some earn 30-40$ from bounties as the bounty itself is scam. If you do this like a job, I gues you earn as if you work in a regular job. Joining bounty campaigns could also be considered as a gamble. However, there are some important things that one can do in order to avoid wasting one’s time, and to make sure to earn profit. Before joining a campaign, make sure to research and read about the project and its goals. Also try to know the people who are behind the project. Reading their whitepaper could be a help as well. However, some projects don’t put much effort on their whitepaper anymore.

I do not call a bounty campaign as passive income, I think a bounty campaign is a job. because we spend maybe up to 6 hours per day to participate in bounty campaign. we work, not just silence. we do business.

Till now if you manage to join a good bounty campaign income can be really great and definetly worth your time. Till now, seems like I have been really lucky with choosing campaigns because income was great, but also before joining try to check project twice because there are a lot of scams out there, and even though you are not investing your money with bounty campaigns still you are wasting your time!
