I think now the bounty is the only good way to earn coins.  And yes, I think it's worth participating in the bounty.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I would consider it an additional source of money. And of course you need to competently choose where to participate. See bounty bonus and number of participants.

As an investor or bounty participant, I can do very little to stop ICO scams.
Everyone should learn to protect yourself from scams.
If I find some project suspicious, I'd refrain myself from investing any money or time into it.

For me, I don't think its a waste of time, because if you just can choose the good bounty for sure you will get something.  I'm not sure for the passive income because i experience only a small amount but I can assure that you will have a good income but its still depends on the bounty.

It all depends on your ability to choose a good project. You should avoid bad projects and participate in good ones.
For this you need to learn how to distinguish them. This forum will help you gain experience.

Bounty campaigns are not an easy way to earn money. It is not like an passive income. You need to make a lot of actions until you will find the right campaign to earn money. But I don’t think that it would be profitable enough.

Bounty is not a passive income.  But it's still a good way to get coins.  And the bounty is worth participating.
