It might be really difficult to choose a coin, seeing that there are quite a number of altcoins in the market, and it has become quite confusing choosing from them, but do threads like this actually help anyone make decisions too? Because at the end of the day, people are giving different opinions here, it is back to square one again.

I prefer to WAIT because investing for the long run better. While now have ETH and EOS. the market price is currently down so should keep the coins. EOS itself different from ETH. With the ETH made a free man purses a lot at no charge.

I like to suggest all the big ones, they have a great reason to be there. Bitcoin, eth, ltc, xrp they all have a reason to be right up there. I also enjoy nano since they have a great tech behind it with their app on the smart phones they actually managed to get a great payment processor with nano. If they can somehow link that with peoples accounts on fiat as well than it means people can send money to each other easily and instantly with no fee's.
Instead of investing only with 3 coins, we must diversify more. Just being big ones now, will not ensure big returns in coming years. Yes, anything may happen to anyone at anytime. My recommendation should be, at least 10 different coins. Different in the sense, application/algorithm/price levels and everything. Choose wisely.

Nothing much but obviously bitcoin and eth are the cryptos that should be fulling our bags now. Seemingly, we're seeing a new all time low and some are really bothered to invest but kindly make an exception as we should be buying neither bitcoin and eth because once the market recovers bitcoin will be the first to get back its value. Think of it.

You can buy whatever coin you want, there will be perfect deal anyway. All top 100 alts are a good bargain right now.
Don't panic, find money, take it out of your bank and just invest in crypto. You won't regret.
