Well, why not? If contract was made by professionals, then there is nothing to affraid of. ERC20 is new best thing in crypto, many projects now can get into crypto world and develop their projects. a lot of this year there were new projects - which turned out to be scammers! all these projects are created on the platform eth! but that does not mean that eth - a very bad coin! you always need to understand where to invest your money, and before that it is very good to study the project, the team and the product!

Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create alot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product. I've thought about investing in tokens like Credits and Elixir but I'm afraid they are all the same kind of scam.

ERC-20 simply a token under ethereum smart contract and running in ethereum blockchain, whether scam or not it's all up to the developer whether they have the courage to continue their project or they just gone like nothing.
Quite agree to what as you said, creating erc-20 is too easy that even some people out there want to do it for you, having brief smart contract review for the sake of few bucks.

True.  Lots of ERC-20 based platforms ICOs became failed in last year, or scammed. We earned bounties in the form of ERC20 tokens, I have earned that in form of tokens, but most of them now worthless.

Yes, not all ERC20 are good tokens. There are scams and are not serious about the project development. Some are just created to raised funds and once they get profit, the fled leaving the project and investors without clue. But there are also ERC20 token that is having a solid project like the top tokens from Ethereum platform. Ethereum platform is a good platform to raise funds but scammers are also flooding, I hope they can regulate it.
