Do you trust ERC20 tokens?

If you want to participate in a prject and supports ERC-20, if you really wa be rewarded or  you dont have a choice. wheather s scam or not because thats what they chose. It is convinient becsuse more coins you can store into a certain wallet. i think its not convinient to open each coins at each wallet at each site.

Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create alot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product. I've thought about investing in tokens like Credits and Elixir but I'm afraid they are all the same kind of scam.

Do you trust them?

I think ico will not change, except now it's more difficult to find projects that will make tokens successful when released on the market. And we know that currently more erc20 is used, because maybe it is the best choice to make it easier for tokens to be registered. So maybe not a token type problem, but we do have to be able to analyze a project that is offered.

You are right, due to there are many scam ICOs projects on ethereum's platform (erc20) does not mean we don't trust in ERC20, it is like blame token ERC20 should we learn more about the ICOs projects before makes investment into them and we must calculate our capital before investment in ICOs including the risk of losing money in ICOs.

It is totally depend on the erc20 token project that is power full or not and that will be get benefit in the future for the investor and user. But all the erc20 token are not value able and don't market value for trade in the market. They are just come for the small level trading.

Of course, ERC-20 is the latest technology on blockchain, I am sure that the development of ERC-20 that has been used by ethereum will improve so that investment in ERC-20-based tokens is beneficial.

It is possible that the ERC20 standard is not as secure as the newer ERC223, but it is still secure enough to date, because many of the coin still have the ERC20 standard. I think the fraudulent projects are not related to the ERC20 standard.

ERC20, in my opinion, is a wallet that can be trusted to keep our personal data in the wallet and can keep the assets in it. I hope the ER20 can be improved in quality so it will not be easy for other wallets to beat or replace them, and can continue to be used in the future.

I do not trust to tokes at all, they are not stable and reliable for me than coins, which I can use almost everywhere and when I want, and it is easier to create trends for them.

As far as I know, there are still many erc20 tokens used in many good projects, although of course the current situation makes any project difficult to pump the price of the token. But there were some developers who were successful with erc20 in the past, and are currently trying to develop other projects. And maybe such names can be used as a reference, at least ensuring that the project is really developed.

There are lot of erc20 tokens that is trading in the market, it doesn't matter whether it's an erc20 token or coin, it is up to the project team to manifest their ideas to reality and made the project successful.

Tokens are not promising for me and I don't see tham like very valuable elements in working here, they are just like tools to eran really good money and nothing more.

I think it depends on the projects. In time, when the Ethereum, platform will evolve, I think that the tokens will change their standards.

Not at all, they are way too easy to make which gives everyone the ability to make these coins. The fact is that with erc-20 coins it can be hard to determine which ones are legit as most of the tokens are just made by people who are just trying to make a quick buck in the market. When I get them from bounties, I sell them as soon as I can.

Yes i like erc 20 tokens. Not all erc 20 tokens are scam , that is the fact . It is true that now most of the exit scam happens with erc 20 tokens. But if you want to invest in ico or want to buy and hold long term and the coin is new in market you should always do some research about that particular coin/token. Now a days many fraud is ongoing but for a tokens presence in  Ethereum Erc 20 blockchain does not make the token or increase the chance of token scam.

Yes!!! ERC-20 tokens are good, it is the creator who we must doubt.
ICO use ERC-20 tokens on their ICO because it is easy to transact with.
Investors will send ETH for investment from their ERC-20 wallet.
the token for that investment will be receive on the same address.

I think we can trust him. 90% of ico provide their token sales on etherium network because its safe and easy to use

You should have said ICOs not ERC20 token because erc20 is the smart contract of ETH blockchain by giving those who have a good project to develop but many use that as an opportunity to scam people by using ico to raise funds and scam many investors, I believe many are good but much are bad and we can't because of that thing all are bad , that is why you need to do your research on any token before you invest on them or better still wait for it to be listed on better and well known exchange to get in, but many thing of the bonus or gain and end up in lost.

ERC20 is not something that is our reference to trust the token but what platform is formed by companies that use the technology as a way to make that happen, many projects that develop ideas and innovations used ERC20 technology and some succeed and some not, depend on how the company use it
