Good day!
I had just recently checked the recent merits sent and this 5 merit sent caught my eye.

Ingramhb receiving 5 merits from a one-liner generic post from glandulaHewq:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2431660.msg36070054#msg36070054

Now it extends to glandulaHewq receiving 10 merits from  zhouyc in different ANN threads from making just a generic to simple review of the project's site and whitepaper

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2401248.msg33662898#msg33662898 - 5 merits

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2159012.msg35561706#msg35561706 - 5 merits

It extends even more to zhouyc receiving 11 merits from shixd8899

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1475699.msg32293201#msg32293201

13 merit from  yeyz600

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2537413.msg31042047#msg31042047

24 merits from xzhybbs from just a generic statement

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1510517.msg31557478#msg31557478

yeyz600 receiving 30 merits from hdd3go from 3 different threads

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1866871.msg32561887#msg32561887 - 10 merits

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2158960.msg33184345#msg33184345 - 10 merits

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2049353.msg32261107#msg32261107 - 10 merits

yeyz20171031 receiving 34 merits from  007eminem

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2040221.msg28580824#msg28580824

These two red colored usernames raises the flag even more, judging by their close-related usernames. Most of these or all of these users are Chinese. There are more merits sent to other Chinese users  but these are what I suspected the most due to the amount of merit sent isn't really applicable to the posts. I believe they're doing "Fixed Merit Scheme", where they're sending merits to the users that is equal to the minimum merits needed for the next rank.
Kindly check.  Wink

Not surprised.

I have investigated 16 Cases with over 60+ abusers. The amount of merit has been abused are enormous.

Now I am kinda tired of investing all these. Nothing gonna change but in addition people will think you are a hypocrite.

Now a days merit abusers are becoming smarter and smarter.
They do not go like X->Z and Z->X
They go like X->Y->Z->A->B->......->W->X

By the way well done.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

Nice investigation! I guess it is probably agreed between parties before the merit was distributed.

I wonder why merit distributor don't go to post history and look for some post that is worth giving merit, because it would be less suspicious that way Huh

Well, I think it's really simple, Most of the Merit abusers really don't have any good post for them to got merit, to begin with, So the only way for others to gain their merit is simply by purchasing merits or use their alt account to boost their main account so that they can rank up. Because they know that they can't do it by only using their style of posting.

This is solely done between same account owner trying to rank up his or second account. Cases like this make most people see the merit system as a failed cause. I hope the admins have a look at this and rethink this method soon enough.

This kind of act shouldn't be prevalent but be it as it may, such acts shouldn't he condoned. The accounts should be banned or flagged. It will go a long way to send message across to numerous others practicing such or intending to do such.

Then we should ban their boss as well a.k.a HostFat he is also a forum staff. all of the reported members are Bcash shills, tagging them would mean that you are suppressing anything other than Bitcoin.
If you want them banned or tagged for merit related crimes, there should be no exception and everybody with the same crimes would have to be banned and tagged.

After reading yeyz20171031's posts, I have changed my mind and I am going to tag this cunt. I would tag anybody else with the same behaviour, look at his posts. other than being a Bcash shill, they are bumping shady ICOs with one liner garbage. I have tagged a few of them, others don't have much merits, like 5? I wouldn't tag somebody for sending and or receiving 5 merits. even if I did, they would have to report 200 garbage, off topic posts accurately to convince me to delete their red tags.

Good  Job!!! Many high ranks saw an opportunity in boosting there alt accounts of there self/family and there friends in merit system because they have the total control of it. Old system and Merit System is still loop sided to them, there no assurance that they will be punish on there abuses but still it's worth a try. Keep it up!!!
