Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

eMark (DEM)
type SHA-256
block 34323
diff 71,132.37649
reward 50
price 0.00006059   CoinEx
profitability 103.84%
Net hash 2.68 TH/sec

I am surprised that a coin like DEM which usually tops the profitability charts several times a day, on both coinwarz /coinchoose and has 2.68TH/s net hash worth of miners,  has been no added by now.

Gridcoin offer true innovation, there is no coin like it.

Gridcoin

I speculate that with their ties to Berkely university, and Ripple, that

Gridcoin may be quite a successful coin Smiley

I vote for Datacoin, but I also respect idea of Gridcoin. But these two coins are not competitors of course - different purposes.
