The leader for the poll has 11 Votes currently. We only have 4 votes.  This is our chance to get an exchange for Bells for free!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=529591.0

VOTE

edit:  Up to 7 votes!  Keep em coming!

9 Votes!

If Bells is added to Atomic-Trade, methods can be added to the wallet.

We can find someone to add checkpoints.

Let's just concentrate on making this happen.

PLEASE GET EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO VOTE BEL

I added all of the recommend nodes throughout the thread but I can't seem to sync past block 108678 on my other computer.

Does nobody know? Any new nodes available? I'd like to solomine while I can before this ends up on an exchange.

The first cycle was 90 days.... this halving is 180 days long...

THERE ARE PLENTY OF BELLS TO BE MINED....

Then after this halving it is a constant block award... of 2 BEL per block...

I don't want to hard fork the reward system... the reward system is why we still have miners today...
This is a really fun coin to mine!

However we have 180 days to get it on an exchange, get some services for it... ( dice game etc )
Or it will die....

Also I would lve to see a BEL faucet set up like this one:

http://lottocoin.org/faucet/

But have the faucet rewards semi-mimic the block rewards. There are some HUGE BEL holders that need to spread the wealth via a faucet or even some giveaways, whatever to bring some interest to this coin....

@cryptogivaway and cryptofury.com could help with that.... I have had him work with PMC for me and he does a great job...

Then after this halving it is a constant block award... of 2 BEL per block...

After the ~180 days it will halve again but not go to 2 BEL per block yet. Based on the percentage of block rewards, the breakdown is as follows:

Blocks 101 - 129600 = ~36,260,000 coins generated

Blocks 129601 - 259200 = ~18,180,000 coins generated

Blocks 259201-518400 = ~4,121,280 coins generated

~58,561,480 coins by block 518400, then only 2 BEL per block till 500,000,000 coins generated

I pointed my main miner to blocksolved, I had only been solo mining with 100kh/s up until now.

I believe the other solo miners need to speak up here, especially those that were able to put in up to 80mh/s. Solo mining accounts for more than half of the total coins distributed right now. If someone can afford to put 80mh/s into this then they must be able to help us out on getting a dev to fix the wallet, setup a block explorer, pay-votes to get BEL on exchanges, and other services. Please speak up!

I sent you 8k BEL, what I made today using my main miner. I can't believe I made that much, but I can't keep it on there all the time. Please get this up ASAP.

The Bellscoin user also received a good amount of donations, maybe he/she will send you some?

Walletnotify patch added to bells.
https://github.com/Vorfeed1/bellscoin

Wow. I'm extremely happy to see a developer jumping on updating the wallet finally.

However, I reviewed the github fork and it doesn't look like much has been updated yet. The rewards actually hasn't changed (edit: says so per the git message), but there is some changes in the wallet.cpp regarding the notification of transaction: "notify an external script when a wallet transaction comes in or is updated". I don't know, but maybe this has to do with the receiving coins and it doesn't seem to match the date/time when they were sent? Cuz whenever I open my wallet it all comes in at the same moment, even if I had those generated a day beforehand.

If this developer is interested, please review the entire thread to find other issues with the wallet, and suggested updates from Bobby. There is definitely a reward for updating the wallet.

So, thank you kindly for someone jumping on this coin!!!

I may move my main miner back over to the blocksolved pool tonight. This is starting to become a REVIVAL coin.

I am not a bells dev, I was just asked to add the patch,
even so, I will be willing to try to fix other problems.
