I tried to withdraw 99 BTC today, one BTC under my limit. The message said the coins are on their way. an hour later, no confirmations at all. I sent an email to them and received a reply that there is an "unusually high traffic" for support.

they sent me an automated email recording the withdrawal and my account DATA SHOWS 99 BTC fewer in it, but my home wallet never received them.

Are any other users experiencing this problem? Can I use block explorer to find out what's going on?
if so, how do I do that?

probably a very very silly question.. are you sure you popped in the correct receiving address?

and it is not uncommon for it to take a while to show in your client if it is not up2date with current info.

I haven't updated the block chain in weeks. That could be the problem. I have been waiting for over an hour and received hundreds of confirmations on old transactions. I'll let it run for a while longer. Thanks.

If miners are taking a break while the price is low, that's going to slow down transaction confirmations as well.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.
