As you can read in this article as well as the most recent update, this extension has less to do with the markets and more to do with an agreement with a well-known global distribution partner. Remember, with how volatile crypto is, there is no guarantee that the markets will be better in October than currently. So the best thing the team can do is support the tokens by forging relationships and continuing development of the platform.

Eth town has been launched since 2 Aug, but still not on portal. Are they not willing to use plat to trade, no value token. They just want to trade through eth. So eth town is not present in the portal until now

Is the Maersk-IBM blockchain project in competition with Blockshipping?

CEO Peter Ludvigsen has stated:
Blockshipping and the GSCP platform has nothing to do with Bill of Lading freight revenues. Our focus is on helping Container Carriers and Leasing companies reduce the cost of owning and managing shipping containers. The Maersk IBM Blockchain project has no overlap with the specific focus Blockshipping GSCP  has on shipping container management and improving efficiencies in this specific area.

Based on the public knowledge I have about the Maersk IBM Blockchain project there are huge business benefits and societal gains to be had for the customers who join the Maersk IBM project. In our case with focus only on shipping containers we have a detailed value proposition with specific benefits realization plans for each of the main stakeholder groups in the shipping industry (1. Container Carriers, 2. Container Leasing Companies, 3. Global Terminal Operators+individual container terminals, 4. Banks and Financial Institutions providing loans to Leasing Companies and Container Carriers investing in new containers, 5. Container Trucking, Barge Operators, and 6. Container Repair Facilities and Container survey companies).

In preparation of the detailed requirements specs we are finalising for the 14 GSCP  products  and services (in MVP I, II and III) I spent half a day today with an ex colleague, an expert in the area of container management  who has spent the majority of his whole career in container management at both Carrier and Container Leasing companies and we identified several new important use cases that we will add to our wildcard product category. Probably due to unfavorable market conditions, so the ICO is extended. But it does not matter because in this way the team does not need to rush to register on the exchange

Now if you compare the prices now the ETH price went down quickly to 250$ and it is really not good for the ICO's because they will easily raise very less amount compared to now. So the idea is good to postpone the ICO until the market starts recovering.

Hello, Pastrana044, I fully understand your concerns. However, may I kindly note that should there be no reasons for the postponement, it would not be done. There's an important agreement with a well-known global distribution partner that should be published soon. Projects are not done overnight and we need the community's support especially in such periods of time.
