it is very difficult to beat the bitcoin at this time .. since it was launched a few years ago until now nothing can compete with bitcoin.
or maybe for the next few years maybe Ethereum or other coins may be able to compete with bitcoin or even close to bitcoin prices.

The value of BTC cannot be replaced. If BTC is replaced, it will be a new revolution in blockchain.

Because I see there are many other cryptocurrencies that the developers are trying hard to solve the problems in cryptocurrencies.
We don't know who are the developers and no effort is being made to develop it.

i don't know if you are trolling here or outright dumb with these two statements.
i am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are just dumb. your problem is that your head is in the sand! you have never even checked any of these so called "rivals" and you have never in your life owned any of them outside of an exchange. you just bought some shitcoin and earn profit thanks to its pump and then saw its "advertisement" so you think it is the best thing in the world!

go try out some of these shitcoins you are so in love with and then come back and lets talk then. Wink

Bitcoin has the biggest advantage that it is always in news being the first crypto. Other than that, if we judge based on features, coins like ETH are already defeating it .

there's a possibility, but for another cryptocurrency to surpass bitcoin they need a very big impact on the media so that people know there project and when that happen more people use their  cryptocurrency and soon they will surpass bitcoin.

I had previously doubted that Bitcoin would be replaced by another currency. But my mind has changed. Because I see there are many other cryptocurrencies that the developers are trying hard to solve the problems in cryptocurrencies.  What about bitcoin? We don't know who are the developers and no effort is being made to develop it.
If you don't try hard, your rivals will win. Bitcoin's rivals will win too.

Why you should've consider other cryptocurrencies as rivals? Indeed the other cryptocurrencies made as alternative to some people who want to invest their asset so that people could get profits from a few coins

why your mind has changed ? bitcoin will be bitcoin, it cannot be replaced by other coins.
you can see bitcoin has been forked more than once, and many peoples still prefer to use bitcoin.

For me your opinion is wrong you will never know how they work as long as it still doing good for sure they are trying their best to work for the good of bitcoin.

For me if bitcoin falls all of the other coins will fall because it is the root of all crypto.

At the end your conclusion will be in vain because no alternative crypto currency can overtake Bitcoin. And I want to you to tell the house the problem of crypto currency the developers are working on at the moment that will make any alternative coins to overtake Bitcoin.

Yes, ETH should be able to replace bitcoins soon, may be next 5 years. If you see the current trends, buyers prefer using it over bitcoins.

Give me a good example of your so called trend, how do you evaluate the trend you discovered, there is no trend, there are a shit load of tokens coming out, some are good and some are really bad and you think that those tokens that is being created will push ETH above bitcoin, may be it will have a total market capital because of the sheer number of projects created by it, but that does not mean that ETH could be able to touch bitcoin's price valuations not in a million years.

It is almost impossible to replace bitcoin, even if there is a blockchain in the future that can be used globally.

But bitcoin, the ancestor of the cryptocurrency, has become almost a religion in many people's minds.

There are tokens which are useless and there are many scams in the market because of these wild ICO hunt and it wont last long, the governments around the world will come up with regulations to counter this because of the amount of scams that happened with it and only legit projects should have the opportunity to collect funds and they must be monitored on their progress and if not big penalties must be imposed and that will cut short this mad ICO craze.

In theory, yes. Replacing old things with new things is the inevitable result of social development.

But for now it's unrealistic, and at best a replacement for bitcoin.

Other cryptocurrencies can only replace parts of bitcoin.

Yes.There will be more cryptocurrencies that will be introduce sooner but i don't think if they can compete with bitcoin's potentials.Or they will only live for months and then eventually die.Bitcoin has maintain its crown throughout the time so it only means that bitcoin has made its foundation stronger through the test of time.

Everything on earth is destined to be replaced by something else, sooner or later, there can be little doubt about. Only the simple minded believe that something can last forever. Bitcoin WILL be replaced by something else sooner or later. Get used to this idea.

Actually here the fact is quite interesting, if bitcoin price rises then the other crypto will go up, if down then will come down, I feel here will not happen competition to have the highest price.

Why is there an obsession for some people to dethrone bitcoin? Don’t get me wrong. I also hold Ethereum, Litecoin and participates in ICOs. But why hate on bitcoin? I got news for you, bitcoin will always be THE COIN, the ALPHA COIN, the generic name for cryptocurrency. Many have tried, but failed to unseat THE KING!

If you don't try hard, your rivals will win. Bitcoin's rivals will win too.

Over time, indeed, such a replacement can occur. We have seen that bitcoin has not improved for a long time, when there were problems with the time of its transactions and the high cost of commission fees. This led to the fact that investors just started switching to the use of other crypto-currencies, including bitcoin in cash. Bitcoin began to lose its popularity. If such problems with bitcoin are repeated, the popularity of bitcoin will not be restored and eventually it may lose its leadership. Nothing in our world lasts forever. If bitcoin is not constantly improved, it will be forced to give up its place to more promising coins. This is the rule of the market.
