Highly unlikely, but it's possible. We will need to wait many years for that to happen though. Bitcoin is too engraved in the minds of crypto enthusiasts so I don't think the flippening can happen anytime soon, despite the fact that there are many coins that are fundamentally and technically superior.

I had previously doubted that Bitcoin would be replaced by another currency. But my mind has changed. Because I see there are many other cryptocurrencies that the developers are trying hard to solve the problems in cryptocurrencies.  What about bitcoin? We don't know who are the developers and no effort is being made to develop it.
If you don't try hard, your rivals will win. Bitcoin's rivals will win too.

I think that bitcoin cannot be replaced by anther cryptocurrency. You said that our developers didn't try theor best to solve our problems here that is wrong because we all know that all the creators here are giving their best to make bitcoin stronger.

About being replaced, I think it can happen but it will be difficult because after all bitcoin is the first coin of crypto that was first recognized by many people. Even though it would be getting older, I think it will still get some support until it remains the strongest and more popular among the various countries about its excellence.
It doesn't look about the developer, but I think a good welcomed will always be there for bitcoin.

Actually bitcoin is getting developed over many times like many forks are happened with bitcoin which made the bitcoin transactions are more faster and cheaper and segwit adoption made the fee of bitcoin transactions reaches to four difit fees so it menas the developments are happening,so I don't think any other coin have the potential to beat bitcoin..

true agree with you i see this also that they try to make a lot of fork just to try if this may work for to beat bitcoin for but they are unfortunate to make this happen cause they fail for what they can able to do for and bitcoin are always to be the number coin until now.

Well, i think bitcoin may not been replace in other currency because bitcoin is accepted in many countries and because of that there are more stores that will accept a bitcoin as payment, especially now that more people know about it and it will increase in everyday for sure.

As time goes by, it's gonna get harder and harder for any other coin to dethrone btc. Its mass adoption is exponentially increasing and more and more stores are starting to accept it every day. So, no, I don't think flippening will ever happen although there are faster and technically better coins out there.

The fact that in some countries BTC is accepted already, means that all other cryptos can also be accepted there. Anyway, BTC is hard to control and it's volatile as hell. Some new crypto with taxation, fixed rate and transparency can be implemented by governments soon so it can be easier to control. For common users, I think, BTC is a king for years and years ahead, because it established great name for itself

there are definitely doubts that this will happen, but it's possible. I'm wondering myself what will happen, but as long as bitcoin has the biggest community, it'll be safely leading the way

Yeah, maybe.. But it will took a long time to replaced bitcoin, even if its replaced by other cryptocurrency it will be still in the top. Bitcoin is the root and mother of all cryptocurrency. Many will be on the list but bitcoin will still remain and I hope to have many of it for my future and for my family. Lets just continue to support bitcoin and embrace this digital currency. Just keep on earning them and we will be okay.

Your argument is pretty tight. Yes, the anonymous BTC is still a coin that has not been accepted by many governments because of their anonymity. In my opinion the Crypto market, although KYC when buying a few other coins, but holding on to our easy transfer and sale to any one. So KYC does not make sense

Bitcoin is the king and still be the king of cryptocurrency, ethereum will never replace it,but it will remain as second from the top. There's no doubt that bitcoin will live long last and placed always at the top of all crypto.

That will be difficult to happen as bitcoin always shows power of pioneer.... If Ethereum that has great features and so many other coins too and yet still cant compete with bitcoin... Bitcoin will always remain the best...

I couldn't agree more. I also think that bitcoin is the most powerful among the other cryptocurrencies because of it is the first to be introduced and known. I think bitcoin is also the basis of other cryptocurrencies. In addition, although the developer doesn't come in public, bitcoin will stay remain and be the best among the rest.

I do not think so. Bitcoin is still run by some people but we do not know them. Although bitcoin trading is costly and time consuming, it has many benefits. Bitcoin is very expensive and is very well suited for large transactions, the fee will be cheaper if fewer bitcoins are traded.
For other altcoins, the amount of each altcoin is too low so the transaction will become much slower and the charge will be higher. So I think Bitcoin will still be in the top 1.

Undoubtedly it is likely to be replaced at some point but in my opinion with no developers that are greedy and wanting to make alot of money off it is a good thing. Sure there are faults but fiat has faults and the majority of the world doesn't bat a eye at that.

Yes, it is true that Bitcoin's competing coins will overcome it as there are many drawbacks with the coin but it will take a lot of years for the coins to do so. Being the pioneer of all the cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin currently has a market capital of $150 billion which makes it the most popular and most widely accepted coin in the financial market.
However, Ethereum, the second most popular crypto is gaining its acceptance much faster and has the potential to take over bitcoin. Since its origin in 2015, the coin has shown a tremendous growth by 1100% and now stands with a strong market capital of $73 billion. Also, not only as an investment asset, it can be used as a token for smart applications and as a platform for posting new ICOs. Hence the coin is more versatile and a great coin.

I think I doubt that bitcoin will get surpassed by any other cryptocurrency because it is pretty much on top and what happens to bitcoin will also reflect to any other cryptocurrrencies out there because it is the standard for a cryptocurrency. Seeing it fail might cause demotivate feeling for those investors of other crypto because it might as well end up like bitcoin. Bitcoin has a long way to go through after all, we will still see it become our currency in a more technological world.

But still, if you look at the growth and fall of all the crypto currency, then it all depends in part on bitcoin. I'm looking at Ripple yet. They say that it can rise well.

Seems like a very strange statement. I guess just a FUD topic. Since we do know who the developers are. And we do know they are putting in a lot of effort to advance bitcoin. I do think there is a bottleneck on expert blockchain developers who are working on Bitcoin, as there are now so many ICO'd companies who got a bunch of money to hire developers so it is pretty natural for people in Blockchain to go to a blockchain company for their full time work rather than simply volunteer to work for free on Bitcoin's open source software. Then again, companies come and go, Bitcoin will persist. Development is slower, partially due to the fact that they can't just break Bitcoin freely like altcoins and Bitcoin forks do, since its governance is decentralized unlike most of the other ones and so much money is in it. But when the companies behind all those altcoins and tokens and forks blow their money on developers and parties and their coin or application isn't adopted like they'd hoped (will happen to >90% of them) they will disappear and Bitcoin will still be plugging away on becoming the global payment network and store of value.

I don't think there would be any cryptocurrency that will replaced bitcoin.Bitcoin is very popular and no one can level up it's value. This will never happen.Bitcoin remains to be the number 1cryptocurrency.

Mention us some details why will other cryptocurrencies replace bitcoin without any doubt, what has changed your mind so far?
Bitcoin maybe is not being used like before so often as the focus has been turned on to other altcoins which are taking all our attention with their ICOs, with their products linked to their tokens and so on, the ethereum network is really too much used and their are reaching their goal being the first one.
