Question for mining power. Do you have any options to point rented hashing power to own choice of pools to mine on like for different coins etc. If not please add it so that you can configure to mine on own pool of choice.

Hello,

No, Not yet. For the moment, all purchased Ghs and KS mine in our BTC and LTC p2pools. We might add this option in the future, we will think about it and note it for Next Features if it is possible.

Thanks,

Bit-Mining.

Well I hope this becomes an option in the future as am sure you will get a lot more customers this way and also helps too for none 51% network speeds when getting as big as other places like cex.io

Having a problem with this site at the minute.

I Issued a purchase order for 0.078KS at a price of 83LTC (Inadvertently).

The order went through, and i ended up with 0.067 KS at a cost of 5.6LTC. This was at 1000 times more that the current market rate. Some stupidity on my end, i admit.

However, the lowest sell order available was ~0.072KS per LTC. Therefore, i should of paid a rate of 0.072LTC/KS. On a market, it should be impossible to purchase above market rate. A Bid order always buys at the lowest sell order. It is not possible to skip sell orders, and buy above market rate. At the time, the most expensive sell order was in the region of ~0.075KS per LTC, so no buy order ever existed at the inputted rate of 83LTC/KS.

The order was completed instantly, my order did not float.

So, here i am, with a loss of 5.6LTC, (And a mere 0.067KS).

My First question is, why did i not buy at the lowest sell order available, hence market price.

Second, if no one sold their KS to me (based on no order available at the time), then who has my LTC? (Probably Bitmining.co).

Support has replied saying they do not reverse transactions; if so, then fix the flawed market trading. This appears to have happened to a few users according to the chat on the main site.

I'm not trying to put people off the website; until this i have had no problems. But i will state that support have so far been fairly unresponsive.

The order made is below:
-5.561   02.28.14   trade   Buying .067 ks @ 083

for anybody thinking about this site dont do it i was there till recently dumped it their script that pays out missed a day so i lost my dividens for that day aswell as several others they went and changed the dates even before the issue happened and made it look like i had gotten paid when in actual reality was never paid i was awake at pay out time waiting for it never came 4 hours later still wasnt there went to bed got up wasnt there been asking about it support said they were working on it but has not been resolved and have been told ive already been paid for it when i still dont have it its a scam your better off at cex.io  and now they have decided instead of actually addressing the issue to make it to where you have to have the minimum to use the chat talk about shady now i definatly suggest going elsewhere as this is not a practice of a lagitimate buisness no proper tech support either

this is what my account looked like before they tryed to cover up a missing pay out for the 28th cuz their pay script was just enough behind that it showed a day off for payments

they adjust the 2.21.14 to 2.22.14 which is incorrect just so they can make it all line up to what they want to hide if they fixed it right it would have all gone down 1 day so 2.21 would be 2.20 and 2.22 would be 2.21 and so on and still leave a gap of missing payment i have another person who has a point of reference he had made a deposit an hour or 2 before pay out of the missing day and never recieved they have done the same to him adjusted his dates to hide the fact that payout was missed

Haha I've had people buy small amounts of GHS from me  for .04 lawl, u just need to be more careful,  specially with bitcoins.    I've accidently moved 1 decimel place and takin losses on other sites.   Should be more weary when you are buying or selling, but mostly buying.

Well, to be honest, for the most part, bit-mining has been pretty good to me.

People all too often start belly aching and jumping when a service experiences a technical glitch. All services related to Bitcoin are new and highly experimental, if you are worried about losing money, don't invest, simple as.

Every service you use requires some faith in the service provider. So have some faith. If not, there's always Anonymous.

Hello Bit-Miners,

We apologize for the unintended interruption in service; let us bring you up to
speed on the current situation over at Bit-Mining.Co

Over the last few weeks, we have suffered a series of attacks against our
pools by a would-be hacker. This will explain the frequent and clustered pool
down times we have been experiencing; we have been doing our best to guard
ourselves against these DDOS attacks.

In the past few days however, the actions of our assailant have escalated, with
ransom demands and threats that have ultimately culminated in an intrusion
attempt on our server. Thanks to the valiant efforts of our TECHs, and security
considerations already in place, we were able to fend of this attack with
minimal damage. Our wallets were completely unaffected by the attack;
however, we have experienced corruption of our trading database and are
working to restore it to its pre-intrusion state. Let me clarify; NO USER FUNDS
OR ASSETS HAVE BEEN AFFECTED. ALL MINING HARDWARE
(that represents
your Purchased GHs/KHs) IS ALSO SAFE. Because of the corruption of the
trading database, we are suspending the Trading feature until we can get
everything sorted out with certainty.

If you had a BTC/LTC balance before we experienced down time; it should be
accurately reflected in your account balance currently and available for
withdrawal. We are expediting withdrawals for the time being to alleviate user
concerns. However, due to the way the database has been reconstructed,
there may be a few users with incorrect monetary balances; simply contact us
at support@bit-mining.co so that we can take an individual consideration of
your account and make it correct. This is also true for GHs/KHs balances, most
should be correct but there may be a few users with unique circumstances.
Mining power that is in pending orders will also be restored once we resume
trading. For all users having issues with referral counts, this is to be expected
and will be resolved soon. If you have an issue after that just contact us and
we will sort it out.

If you cannot regain access to your account, first attempt to reset your
password.

All withdrawals should have been processed before we went offline; and we
also have a record of all requested and satisfied withdrawals; if you are
currently awaiting one check to make sure you haven’t received it. If you still
haven’t received one that you know you requested, send an email to
contact@bit-mining.co with subject STUCK WITHDRAWAL, we will patch you
up.

Also, to ease concerns about mining payouts, no user has been paid out since
3/07/14 (as we have been down since then), but everyone will be reimbursed
for Purchased GHs/KHs payouts whether or not they were in orders at the
time; we will not penalize the user for the inability to gain account access
during our downtime.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this outage may have caused our
users.  We give our users our assurance that we will investigate each and
every user issue until eventual resolution; but we ask  that users hold non-
account access and withdrawal related issues until after we resume trading.
The maturity of our users about this matter is greatly appreciated during this
difficult time. We still remain committed to providing a superior cloud mining
experience with the most competitive pricing we can provide. We hope that
users observe our handling of this situation as an indication of our dedication
to this project.

As soon as I get a more precise ETA on trading being re-enabled from our
TECH department; I will update everyone via email and forum post. Chat
restrictions are lifted in order to facilitate user issue resolution, and I will be
available in site chat to answer any individual user questions.

If you have any additional concerns or questions please don't hesitate to
contact us. I apologize again for the hassle this has caused everyone.

Why not send such info to your customers ? I haven't been able to login for a day and a half and my requests for support have remained unanswered. I'll try the password thing, but I was blaming the 2FA, since that's been causing issues as well.

As for the ddos attacks, same thing is happening to scrypt.cc and others, I think. Load of crap from a small bunch of idiots  Roll Eyes

Thanks Bit-Mining.Co for fixing so much so fast.

Really happy and glad with how they handled it all.
The moment the site came back online, SUPPORT was there to help you and / or answer your questions.

Really have a lot of respect for him since he worked around the clock to aid as many people as possible!

Same for the community so far! Almost everyone that got word of what happened and got info on how to deal with it, told other people what happened and how they should respond correctly if SUPPORT was afk from the chat to talk to ADMIN and / or TECH, or respond to emails they got from users.

They told us they figured out all accounts by hand and I got everything back Smiley

Thank you for handling this so well guys!

I can see you really like Bit-Mining.Co and do everything to keep everyone happy and satisfied, I know I am Smiley

After their outage,

Id like to come say that #Bit_Mining stood by their product, fixed everything for me!

No loss what-so-ever!  Better customer service there than I ever got at cex.  You cant! go wrong if you're looking for a cloud mining and exchange!

SOO HAPPPPPYYY!!!!  XD
