Hi, I just wanted to get some Bitcoins(or Bitcents or whatever^^)... from http://bitcoin.org/ (where I pressed What is Bitcoin?) I got to http://www.weusecoins.com/ From there I got to several sites, for getting Bitcoins... including So I started mining, but as I'm neither spending much time on it, nor willing to buy new hardware for it, I don't get much... (btw, could somebody explain me, how the unconfirmed rewards from btcguild.com get confirmed...?) Well... does anybody know possibilites for me to get free Bitcoins e.g. via free surveys(as mentioned above, everyone I tried is not available here...) Thanks! |

You can get a tiny amount from here: freebitcoins.appspot.com
Unless your electricity is free or close to free, mining for bitcoins at current difficulty and price level is not worth it at all.

They best way to get bitcoins is earn them(sell something) or buy them.

I am a complete computer noob. Just wondering, will bitcoinplus.com cost money? I don't want my parents' electricity bills to skyrocket. |

In so far as it will try to utilize 100% CPU to process the hashing - yes it costs money. But your computer specs will determine how much the bill goes up by - I very much doubt that it would skyrocket. |
