If you buy EOS right now there's a chance that you can make some decent profits in the short-term since I wound't discard a few pumps in the price before the mainnet launch. But this is just speculation, I can also say that if you buy now you could get burned once the early investors begin the massive dump before or after the main net launch. I honestly wouldn't recommend buying it, it's way overpriced, perfect time to buy buy was a couple months ago.

ETH. I'd wait for the next dip, it's currently going up so a pullback could arrive soon. Btw, it's always recommendable to have ETH on your portfolio, you're missing out some good profits.

Depends on market. I absolutely agree with tomahawk9 except the point that EOS are overpriced. In fact I think they must be corresponding to ETH (adjusted for the total number). But the risk of massive dump after main net launch is really big. So if you are buying for long term why not to wait? Nearly everything shows all time high in several weeks after entering the exchanges and then drop for time or eternity

In my opinion buying EOS doesn't make much sense to do right now. Ethereum, on the other hand, would probably a good buy since it's already on the way up.

But more than that, ETH is a much more solid project in terms of use case, team, and of course adoption (i mean cmon it's #2 in terms of coin market cap for a reason).

I dont like eos and their development and guidance of the project, but i like eos if you just mean to take trading opportunity and make more ether. Ether is developing solidly and eos is just a chalkboard project with a team known for abandoning projects.

eos pumps on last of april is some speculatif.
now it came to normal state. maybe it went down to 0.2 eth

Not necessarily. I don't see ethereum pulling back significantly until we test the 1k big resistance. It looks really strong right now, far stronger than bitcoin and it might even break the 1k resistance and continue up even if bitcoin doesn't. It is already doing it, the % gain for ethereum in the last week has been significantly bigger than bitcoin, the marketcap of eth is also approaching only half of bitcoin's mcap.

If you are a daytrader then you probably should wait for some small pullback but if you are planning to hold for days or weeks I don't see why getting into eth now would be a bad idea, holding until 1k and reconsider there what to do would be the best approach.

I agree with you . EOS has a huge supply and the price of EOS has increased dramatically recently and we should not keep EOS at this time but if you keep EOS for at least 1 year then you can buy EOS at any time As EOS prices will certainly increase and may make you earn very good profit in the future but I still recommend people to buy ETH because ETH is considered a very good foundation for all ICO projects and prices will certainly increase very high

Yes it does, but you should remember about the possibility of ethereum to get another increase soon. I guess ether looks good but this is not the best time to invest consider it's on the peak right now.
EOS for gain another comeback after the recent fall. If you are looking for shortterm and it's EOS.

I bet that there is much more chance for EOS correction rather than ETH. EOS doesn't have working product and they are in top 5 coinmarketcap. Eth has proved its credibility and there are some news from Buterin about Ethereum. To be honest I believe that both EOS and Ethereum will lose in USD in short term

I was thinking about buying the EOS  for ETH. More than half of my portfolio is ETH and I'm trying to increase its number including this kind of speculation.
I do not think that buying EOS is dangerous - if the market grows, then I see no reason why its holders should start selling it. And as far as I know, the EOS is one of the major holders of assets in the ETH. Therefore, nothing dramatic should happen in the EOS / ETH pair.

I do not really care about the price of the asset in dollars, since I invest for a long time in the crypt and do not want to leave it even for a short time.
I became interested in this pair only because both coins are reliable, have a large capitalization and their price turned out to be in antiphase. Price ETH increased, and the price of EOS fell, so I saw the possibility of short-term speculation in order to increase the amount of ETH.

personally I prefer eth for short and long term. but it does not matter if you want to hold both, as both are worth entering the portfolio list.
