Hey Methohatsu, in our field at the moment there are no competitors that went to the token sale and listing. Though there are several ones ranging from the traditional publishers like elsevier. And I believe it is an excellent and exciting time to change that unfair situation once and for all.

The executive summary you've linked does a really good job explaining the benefits and opportunity that this project is offering to the world of science. Academia is something not many are familiar with, but it's a huge industry.
