I am having no success with bfgminer and my new TechnoBit nanofury.

I think it needs a Windows USB driver .inf file but I can find no mention of one.

Tried the TechnoBit HEX16 ones from their download page but no good.

Anyone know where to find it?

This utility can install the WinUSB driver for you

Win7 and higher
http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/zadig/zadig_v2.0.1.161.exe

WinXP
http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/zadig/zadig_xp_v2.0.1.161.exe

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

NanoFury devices do not require a special driver under Windows - the built-in HID one is all you need.

Here is some more info in case you missed it:

Does cgminer work with this sticks too? (on windows)
bfgminer does https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291456.msg3391471#msg3391471 at least for now.

I'm guessing Marto74 may provide some additional instructions so in the mean time that could be a good start:

Sample usage instructions:

Get the latest BFGMINER - e.g. from this link: http://luke.dashjr.org/tmp/code/webisect/webisect.php?dobuild=bfgminer

I did my tests with this version:
http://luke.dashjr.org/tmp/code/webisect/wr/6e770d6c7c3ffbca03c4a1eaf25cfafc77542fc4-win32.zip
http://luke.dashjr.org/tmp/code/webisect/wr/6e770d6c7c3ffbca03c4a1eaf25cfafc77542fc4-win64.zip

sample command line:
bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:3333 -u vs3_nanofury1 -p nanofury1 -G -S all --set-device NFY:osc6_bits=52

The last parameter overwrites the speed bits. A note of caution - the "safe" speed is around 50 bits, so anything over that will likely use more power than what the USB2.0 specs permit. No two chips are the same, so the upper limit will probably be different for each device. On my devices it was around 52-54.
Two things have been happening with my devices when I go over the limit - 1) when they overheat hashrate drops significantly - like 0.3-0.5GH, and 2) if the hub can't provide enough power (and voltage drops below 3.6-3.8V) that just ruins the USB communication and the device appears to have disconnect - beware that the bitfury chip will still have enough power (it needs 1V) and will continue to work even though the PC doesn't "see" the device, so you'll need to unplug it and plug it back in.

Please be careful when handling them - THEY WILL BE HOT!!! and especially even more if you push them. DO NOT TOUCH THE HEATSINKS when they work - heatsinks may reach over 80C!

Ever make any headway on this?
I have the same issue. I picked up a nanofury device and while my laptop recognizes it I can't get my desktop (which will be the mining rig) to see it in bfgminer. Neither machine shows it in multiminer.

I tried zadig on the desktop and not my laptop so I am hoping I didn't bone some drivers there.

No such luck for me with information above.

Edit:
Figures I get part of it right after posting.
I was correct, zadig boned the windows driver and never REALLY returned it to factory. I pulled the winusb dll from my laptop and bfg sees it now. Still no multiminer but 1 step at a time.

I never got it to work on my PC. I ended up getting a TP-Link MR3020 and flashing it with the code from the Technobit website. Works a treat now and I dont need my PC on all the time Smiley
