We are midway through the 1st week of november, I paid for 2 boards for last week of october delivery. Considering that these boards will be earning much less now that the difficulty raised another 30% today. That is not what I was expecting and I haven't even received a tracking yet. At this rate, I would like a refund because by the time I get them, they will certainly not ROI for a very long time, if at all.

I'm guessing Marto74 may provide some additional instructions so in the mean time that could be a good start:

Sample usage instructions:

Get the latest BFGMINER - e.g. from this link: http://luke.dashjr.org/tmp/code/webisect/webisect.php?dobuild=bfgminer

I did my tests with this version:
http://luke.dashjr.org/tmp/code/webisect/wr/6e770d6c7c3ffbca03c4a1eaf25cfafc77542fc4-win32.zip
http://luke.dashjr.org/tmp/code/webisect/wr/6e770d6c7c3ffbca03c4a1eaf25cfafc77542fc4-win64.zip

sample command line:
bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:3333 -u vs3_nanofury1 -p nanofury1 -G -S all --set-device NFY:osc6_bits=52

The last parameter overwrites the speed bits. A note of caution - the "safe" speed is around 50 bits, so anything over that will likely use more power than what the USB2.0 specs permit. No two chips are the same, so the upper limit will probably be different for each device. On my devices it was around 52-54.
Two things have been happening with my devices when I go over the limit - 1) when they overheat hashrate drops significantly - like 0.3-0.5GH, and 2) if the hub can't provide enough power (and voltage drops below 3.6-3.8V) that just ruins the USB communication and the device appears to have disconnect - beware that the bitfury chip will still have enough power (it needs 1V) and will continue to work even though the PC doesn't "see" the device, so you'll need to unplug it and plug it back in.

Please be careful when handling them - THEY WILL BE HOT!!! and especially even more if you push them. DO NOT TOUCH THE HEATSINKS when they work - heatsinks may reach over 80C!

I got my S-HASH and its working fine!

Setup was easy!

Get it out of the package, connect powersupply (mine had a connector for adaptor + inside - outside) i soldered a molex (yellow +12V, black -) connector to it to power it from atx PSU.

http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/1154/snt7.jpg

Connect power.
Connect network.
Go to your router and see what ip your dhcp server gave you're bord.
Enter IP in webbrowser.
Change minng pool.
Click Set pools.
Wait for 5 min and refresh page, it should be hashing.

Left from the 3V3 text is the R01T resistor for OC

http://imageshack.us/a/img405/7324/zsi6.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img812/4861/i9xn.jpg

(SPEC for 12V adaptor should be about 4 amp @ 12V @ standard voltage mine measured  0.842V, you need more than 4 amp if you OC)

I OC'ed the board by adjusting R01T from 100K to 68K.

The voltage i calculate @ this resistance was about 0.90 V.

I measured 0.9010V in real life. This gets the board @ 41 GHAS/s.

The standard settings measured about 45 - 50W this includes the PSU, OC'ed it measures 67W including PSU.

When OC'ing you have to be carefull with the temperature of the DCDC convertor I measured 68°C (MAX 85°C) after OC and 22°C roomtemperature.

My advice, get some extra cooling for the DCDC convertor cause it is at his limits when changing the voltage to 0.9V.

Thanks Smiley

You overclock by changing the voltage level.

This can be done by changing a resistor:

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/6725/l9y3.jpg

The standard is 100k. I measured the voltage: 0,842V

You can calculate the output level of the dcdc converter: R=14000/(vout - 0,7)

So a 68k 0805 smd resistor should give an output voltage of About 0,9V.

I advise you not to do pencil mod, due to the circuit it is hard to measure the correct value.
If you measure the resistor on the board it Will not measure 100k due to the circuit.
Its too dangerous to burn the dcdc and chips.
So i removed the 100k smd resistor and replaced it with 68K and it works greath.

Why not higher than 0,9V? Well the dcdc is Max 50A and 85°C. At 0,9V it is at almost his maximum Load.
Driving it higher Will possible kill it. Mine is stable at 68°C.

Bare in mind that you need 6 amp @ 12v to power it.

Today I received NanoFuries from Marto, they were shipped with DPD Road on 31. 10., packaging was really good, heatsinks are black.

4 hash nearly same, 1 is worse

settings: 54 bits, active cooling, connected to Anker 7-port USB 3.0 hub with 48W power supply, BFGminer running on old laptop, power consumption at wall is around 40W with switched off screen

More pictures

That worse device hashes at only about 1.6 GH/s with 52 bits. Huh Can I somehow increase its hashrate?

Can you give me instructions for pencil mod?

Can you give me instructions for pencil mod?

See this image:

R2 and R3 determine the voltage:
V = 0.8*(R2+R3)/R3
(and factory settings are R2=100 and R3=2.4k for about 0.833V)

If you want to increase the voltage you can either increase R2 or decrease R3 (pencil mod decreases resistance).
And to lower the voltage - you can lower R2 or increase R3.

My 2 cents - start by first lowering the voltage. At least that's the safer option Wink

By the way - you should really start by plugging just that device - to see if by itself it behaves fine or not. Try also different ports. If it misbehaves even by itself then experiment with pencil mods. It is possible also that the hub just doesn't have enough power for all devices, or that some ports are picky.

Most probably the problem is not enough power from the USB hub
