i mean all they have to do is put all bcash on an exchange, sell it for btc, and then add the btc onto each customers account... then voila, after a couple days work from nitrogen, they are no longer stealing millions of dollars in customer deposits.

that is the easy way, but the easier way for them is to tell us they are not going to support bcash, deposit the bcash to exchanges, sell it for bitcoin and withdraw to their personal wallet. more money for them instead of distributing it.

I think serious bettors don't withdraw that much
Wrong. Serious bettor withdraw constantly because they are winning money and/or trust their money on their hardware wallet more than a book. Usually they stored some, so they can bet again later

Not all bitcoin sites supports bitcoincash, it is their own right to do so imho. If nitrogensports players knows about the fork and willing to get bitcoincash then they should withdraw it before the fork. You can blame them because they are not distributing bitcoincash.

Your users are complaining about the new withdrawal policy you have enacted. But it was inevitable with the mempool flooding and the backlog it created. With that in mind, do you have plans to help lower your transaction fees and your users' transaction and withdrawal fees by having Segwit enabled in your site?
The technology is there waiting to be used. But if not, then what are your plans for solving the high transaction fees?

They need to batch transactions. They currently do not or do it rarely

I agree something absolutely needs to be said by nitrogen about bitcoin cash. It has been months since last thry spoke about it. Sooo
Nitrogen, what is up with OUR forked coins?
Hi Layla99, Nitrogen Sports wants its players to know that when Nitrogen decides to integrate BCH, balances at the time of the fork will be honored in full. We are currently evaluating the timeline for integration and will issue an official statement once a development is available on that front. Thank you very much. - Mayce That's nice to hear, although more specifics regarding approximate timelines would be nice. Thank you. Please answer the following question: Do you sequester 100% of customer funds? If so, do you keep it all in Bitcoin at all times? With the recent huge runup in the BTC price, I am worried that any site that doesn't both sequester customer funds and keep them 100% denominated in BTC is insolvent. Hi KGambler, Our internal payout policies are structured to minimize player payout risk, and it of course accounts for movement in the price of BTC. We've been around since 2012, which is like centuries in Bitcoin-time. We've never had an issue with payouts, and will continue to lead the way as one of the world's top crypto-only books. Thanks, - Mayce Yikes. That's a terrible answer but at least you guys are honest. If you spent or converted to fiat any significant portion of your clients' BTC, you cannot be solvent. The math is simple. BTC is up 50 fold this calendar year. It's like trying to run a book where your clients deposit and withdraw in USD but you convert the USD you hold to Venezuelan Bolivars for your own usage.

I would advise withdrawing all of your coins stored on Nitro ASAP. There is a fork coming tomorrow. It's a segwit2x fork to make transactions faster and cheaper and will probably be pretty popular.
I can tell you from bitter experience that they will delay a withdrawal request for about 24 hours if a fork snapshot is coming. I would not wait if you want your segwit2x btc coins.

The resulting coin is already trading north of $1,000. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/segwit2x/These are futures, the snapshot has not been taken yet so of course no coins have been issued. Also, it appears they plan to not issue the B2X that is associated with Satoshi's known address ("he" has huge holdings") and will instead issue those coins to B2X users. Nitro will not give you these coins and will try and delay your withdrawal as well.

Thanks for the advise, but I don't think they'll have any plans on disabling/delaying their withdrawals unless they put up an announcement and there was no complaints about withdrawing when the second fork happened. From my experience after the changes in their fees the withdrawals are a lot faster than it used to be. If there was a delay in withdrawals it's because of the amount of requests they receive in a short amount of time.

If there was a delay in withdrawals it's because of the amount of requests they receive in a short amount of time. I tried to withdraw coins 16 hours prior to the bitcoin gold snapshot and it didn't go through until 24 hours later. I would not recommend waiting but it's up to you. It's just a snapshot which is occurring tomorrow, not a hard fork, so there is no reason that withdrawals should be an issue. The point is, if you want to get your BT2X coins, withdraw your BTC from Nitrogensports.eu ASAP

Hello Wind Fury. Nitrogen Sports is and always working hard to solve what we consider an unsustainable fee environment. We are committed to finding a way back to no fee withdrawals. Thank you. -Jason Thank you for the reply. But can you share some details on what steps you are doing to find your way back to "no fee withdrawals"? I believe you should contact the developers who work for Bitstamp. They have a policy for paying the withdrawal fees of their customers which made them so quick to have Segwit enabled from their side. Please follow that example and help the community make Bitcoin better.

This is the first time I have heard of an exchange offering their customers no charges for using their services by eating the withdrawal fees. The way that it stands that would cost them tens of thousands of dollars a day in just those fees as everybody would just withdrawal on a whim since they know they are not paying anything to do it. I agree though, they should not be charging any withdrawal fee so to competitive with other sports books like the other site which I use since they have not and will not be charging their customers for withdrawing their customer's winnings from their site.

Nice promotion to be kicking off since the NFL regular season was officially over on Sunday and we are moving into the playoffs now. All the bad play teams are out and we can finally get down to the business of it all in the coast to coast rivalries. Let's play us some football!
