Don't use vpn to access and play at a gambling site if your country is not allowed. You may be able to play though vpn but its risky because if the site found you are using vpn to access from prohibited location they may ban your account. Also in case of any issue, they may ask you for kyc which will expose your country.

Back then they'll block for a few hours but this time I think it's about the regulation now that the other casinos and sportsbooks also have started updating their terms and blocked certain countries for good.

It's not good for the community but they're only following the rules so they wouldn't run in any problems in the future.

If my memory serves me right, Nitrogensports is not really accessible by all countries even before.

And several crypto-gambling sites also prohibited users from certain countries, not just them.

And I don't think it will harm the community because if so, we should see some declined in the numbers of Nitrogensports users or to other sites as well with the same terms.

Of course it affected the community,  a crypto community who looking for a sportsbook or casino that give them a little more than any other fiat sportsbook in term of anonymity of transactions without third party like banks / government that each time we placed bet there's no information revealed to the outsiders.
If they are trying to obey the government rules by banning certain ip , well we might run out of choices anytime soon.

I knew several casinos, bookies here and they aren't as strict as nitro. That's just my feedback tho. No hard feelings nor personal issue taken here.

The new sportsbook interface is nice and also is good to have more live soccer games. But with the new interface many lower leagues disappeared from offer, only 1 line hcp spread on most leagues, max wage also is smaller than before, games from Europa League for example was in the offer before update, now nothing, so for me the soccer offer is one step back than 1 month ago.

a quick look at some of the big Soccer games and tourneys and offerings are extremely underwhelming

NFL and NBA offer over 10 and and over 20 markets respectively, but Soccer matches in Nations League and upcoming Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1 games only have 6 markets 

esports are a different story, though, much better than before

I don't think any problem like this happening on nitro because I am also checking regularly no one complaining about this on site or here few members have some problems but mostly they are going to solved very quickly as other sports betting sites doing here on this forum and in this crypto community if you have any solid report like this then post here or post in as @goinmerry is scam accusation with all proof.
