Thought this was a cool post.  The other day we were discussing 2 major tech breakthroughs, one being 3D Printing, the other of course Bitcoin.  Here is what happens when the 2 collide:

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I'm excited to see where these 3D printers go. It's already pretty cool that anybody can print their own paper money with a standard printer, but it'd also be very cool to mint your own coins.

Yup, we have 5 if you count the PrintrBot Jr we have.  We also recently got a $250k grant from the IMLS, so we're getting a couple more high-end ones!
