   Detroit has gotten hot again but it’s likely too little, too late barring a complete meltdown by either Miami or Milwaukee. Seeing that the Heat has a home and home set with the Eastern Conference basement dwelling Hawks, it seems unlikely that they’re going to wilt. First of all though, the Pistons have to take care of their own business right now. The 76ers are rolling and even playing the second game of a back to back, you can’t overlook that momentum. Philadelphia has beaten Detroit all three times this season: they make it a clean sweep here.

Cleveland was in action at home Thursday night as they hosted Washington in a matchup of division leaders. Philadelphia reeled off a 12th straight win as they took down the Pistons 115-108 on the road Wednesday night. The 76ers have a 103-102 edge in the all-time regular season series between the teams though Cleveland has taken two of three this season: Philadelphia prevailed 108-97 on the road in the last matchup on March 1.

They should win it because they are at home and I think if they don't the fans will riot and might demolish the Manchester United bus if they don't just in retaliation for theirs being disabled this week during their trip to Liverpool.

The Warriors have merely been pedestrian offensively without the two-time MVP and it’s hard to see them getting a ton going against the Jazz. It actually works in Golden State’s favor to lose this one as it would pretty much prevent them from facing Utah in the opening round. With the roll the Jazz are on, give the points and take them at home here.

That is a scary sight to behold, and they will be moving on to the semis after a second win over the side from Seville.

Seasoned pros when it comes to the playoffs, the Pens have already won seven of their past eight Conference Quarterfinals and have beaten the Flyers in five of the past six meetings in Pittsburgh, sweeping their latest season series as well.

   In this Western Conference Finals rematch from a year ago, the Spurs travel to Golden State, but this time Kawhi Leonard will most likely not play Game 1 unlike last year. The Spurs won four of their final seven games, with wins over Houston, Oklahoma City and Portland in the process. San Antonio somehow made the postseason for a 21 consecutive year, despite nine games played by Leonard. Golden State, meanwhile, will be without Stephen Curry Saturday afternoon, and most likely the rest of the series. The Warriors were blown out by Utah earlier this weekend, and didn’t exactly play inspiring basketball without Curry. Golden State did, however, handle the Thunder in a recent game, but still overall the Warriors ended the season 7-10.

     The Pittsburgh Penguins were mediocre for parts of the final three weeks of the season, but this is the postseason and they are going for their 3rd straight Stanley Cup Title. Matt Murray has been awesome in the NHL’s 2nd season in his career as he is now 23-9 with a 1.89 GAA in the postseason after winning game one of this series 7-0. The Flyers played well down the stretch to get into the playoffs, but they showed in game one that they are just overmatched in this series, especially here at PPG PAINTS Arena. Brian Elliott was rocked in game one and he is now 15-23 in the postseason in his career.
