I'm going to have to refuse paying you uppwards of $900 as a refund. I have to be quite honest with you. What do you mean a couple of days?  After not hearing from you for 2 months I made the decision to bring this to the community. I gave you plenty of warning before putting this into scam accusations. I'm not insulted.

If delivery was made, where the hell is it?! Did you put the correct address on it?  Did you get a tracking number?

I didn't lose anything to inputs.io , no way I'd trust any of my money to an 18yo.

I'm not chasing $900 refund.  I just want my bitcoin back, any bitcoin back.

I really didn't want to have to put up the scam accusation, but you left me no choice.  I hate being ignored, but I hate having to do this even more.

I have had similar issues with this user. If it helps clarify things IMO I don't think he is a scammer just very unmotivated and averse to conflict/responsibility for his actions. In my case I had to press him for some time to get what he agreed to send and it was not in satisfactory condition. I think he probably just has a lot of personal problems. This is no excuse for him not honoring his agreements, and people should know he can be difficult to trade with, but I wouldn't draw conclusions yet about him being a scammer. I may be willing to provide documentation on this individual as long as:

1. The agreements are publicly documented
2. You sign the transaction proving you own it
3. He is given sufficient time to fulfill his obligations with this new information in mind

You have a chance to make this right buddy. No one here wants to be your enemy but you can't go around setting fires without expecting to get burned.  If it was in fact delivered post tracking information. Take responsibility and pay what you owe. That is all that needs to be done.

I can appreciate your approach and agree with you. Trying to take this in stride and learn something from it. Lately, I am only in contact with DTA once or twice a month. I must say that each time we speak, he sounds better each time. Like he is getting "his situation" together. He always mentions that a payback is "in the works" always talks about his guilt to me & the rest of you. However this has been been going on since November & I have not received some miscellaneous hardware that was promised to be sent to me as a partial payment. So basically every time I talk to him, the situation looks promising and bright...I feel good about it because in reality at the end of the day DTA is a good kid but then as time goes on, nothing happens, nothing is sent simply null. I think negative trust would be worthless, DT doesn't seem like he would be on there trying to scam anyone right now. I did not get any raging impression, hell, i'd be LIVID if he ran off with my 3+ BTC. I kept offering to talk with him via skype or email, especially after his invitation. No avail. I don't have any suggestions, only a realization that we will probably never see our money again. In BTC terms the coinage that I should have now from him would be worth a LOT more than it was. Thank you whole heartily for your response. While situations like this never can succeed to closure, reading your words really did seem to give me a bit of a grip on the situation. This is a lesson learned. Not that it really would of mattered but if I ever lend again, I will work with my terms. Red flags should of been thrown back in July when he refused to send me legit pictures, pay dividends and hashing numbers.
