My friend put 2 BTC into kraken and after 4 days still zero on the account. Two support requests logged, no answer for 4 days.  I can see on blockchain someone on Kraken is already using my friend's coins!!!!!!!!!  Steer clear of Kraken. |

SEPA withdraws are also non-working. I'm trying for about 2 weeks to get my money out. First the withdraw is successful. The next day the money is back at my Kraken-account. It was working before.
And also no response from support. Is this the newest scam in btc land?

I think they are just overwhelmed like the rest of the exchanges right now.
Kraken had an extensive beta, with hundreds of users involvolved. Their product should be pretty close to mature.

Eight days ago I opened an account with Kraken, and I selected Tier 2 verification (I have to give my address)
Since then, I didn't hear anything from them, I opened support tickets, but got no reply.
This made me wonder. If they don't answer me even with a canned response (we are overwhelmed, please wait another day) and this is BEFORE depositing cash with them, what will happen when I have serious withdrawal issues?

8th day after registration, i'm still pending the tier 2 validation (that's just address, no scans to be sent)
No response from support tickets too.
I really like how kraken is designed, but how i can trust my money to be with them?

you are lucky, mate - but i would not trust your luck and took your btc out of kraken as soon as possible 9th day with kraken: no money, no contact |

it-zone maybe we are just unlucky  I read on reddit there's people in 24 hours got verified, deposited and withdrew to sepa account. And I'm still waiting to the first step after 9 days |

The situation is I also had no problems with Kraken before. This is why I have recommended it to my friend.
It seems the problems started recently, about two weeks ago. But I definitely postponed using my account, which fortunately has zero balance and I would recommend leaving Kraken ASAP to anyone who is able to do it.

The problem is that our user base has grown by 4x in less than 3 weeks, and this has *completely* overwhelmed our support and verification staff. Yes, my friend had been contacted after 10 days, finally. The problem is related to going slightly over the daily limits, due to time needed for 6 confirmations bitcoin price went up, and money was arrested. Of course during last ten days price went substantially down, but unfortunately a single problem is resulting in huge delays...
I will constantly report the progress, now Kraken acknowledged the problem, and promised to work on it.
