I have no problems at all using Kraken. BTC and NMC deposits went through smoothly, I think my 1st SEPA withdrawal took several days, but subsequent ones were 2 business days each. BTC withdrawals also working smoothly. I'm Tier 3 verified. I prefer them over Bitstamp simply because I'm in EU and I get rid of the EUR/$ conversions as well as the smaller fees. If they manage to offer their services to USA customers the way Bitstamp does, i think we'll finally have a serious competition to Bitstamp and BTC-E (please note I left Mtgox out because one can hardly call Mtgox a "live" exchange at this moment).

I am VERY satisfied with Kraken. Deposits are always quick, one time a LTC deposit took longer than it should be, but after 24 hours after it became fully confirmed on the blockchain it came through on Kraken. Don't know what the problem was.

SEPA Withdrawals from Kraken are incredibly fast. Most of the time it takes 1 business day before I have it on my bank account, and one time I even had it the same day  Cool

...until you must contact the support.

In my friend's case: after my help, support contacted her once, but there is no more progress in resolution of the case. Precisely: still no money.

If your friend went over the limit how is that an error on Krakens part? It's unfortunate that it happened during a large influx of new users but they failed to read the FAQs and now they will have to wait.

OK, but this "large influx of new users" is not an earthquake or tornado, nor a thunderstorm. It can be stopped in one second by Kraken admins who can temporary stop registering new users until they answer ALL support tickets.

BTW, we have now 14 days from the day when my friend's money has disappeared at Kraken, and support still does not want to resolve the issue. Kraken is crap, steer clear if you do not want problems.

14 and half days it took Kraken to deal with the issue. Money has been been found on my friends account, finally.

BTC price after those two weeks is 30% lower.
